I think it was the second or third time I saw TOOL. Maynard told the audience near the end of the set, that they were wrapping up this leg of the tour. Then he said something that I've always looked to as a source of inspiration in times of darkness, "we love what we do, but we can't wait to just get home, lay back and jack off into a fan". Whadda guy! TOOL is Pink Floyd for the new millennium. 🤘🧙‍♂🤘 Absolutely love what do on this channel and am constantly in awe of how well you do it.

The next tool song you should listen to is “The patient”.

I think "Parabol/Parabola" " or definitely "Pushit" would have been more up her alley. Remember she is a reaction therapist, not just a reaction channel. Btw anyone else get happy or smile when you see her bee-bop or dance to music. To cute and funny

One song I think should be looked at, but never gets requested, is Jambi. Easily my favourite song from 10,000 Days. Had it on repeat during my early days of sobriety. "If I could I'd wish it all away/If I thought tomorrow would take you away"

Fun reaction. This is the best music for so many reasons. Fun fact, my daughter was born in April 2019 and this album came out during my paternity leave. She bottlefed to the first single released “Fear Inoculum” and when the full album released, “Pneuma” was bedtime music. As hard as this song can hit, she almost never makes it past the extended drum multi time signature section.

Danny Carey is one of my musical heroes. I'm from the same tiny town in Kansas that he's from and seeing someone become a multi Grammy award winner from a town where you either get into meth or drink your life away.... is pretty cool.

I like to play that full album for people. On vinyl with hardwire head phones. In a comfortable setting. This album makes breakthroughs.

I've loved all your Tool reactions. Tool is one of my favorite bands. This whole album is a masterpiece. It really reminds me of a Pink Floyd album. In that, even though there aren't a lot of tracks. Every song is long and tells an epic story. Next you should check out "Invincible" and "Descending" back to back. They both compliment each other, and I think you would enjoy them. I really love your reaction and interpretation of this song! It's a lot like that to me too. And let me tell you that Tool live (I recently had the pleasure of seeing them live for the first time in Budapest, Hungary) is a full on spiritual journey and a must experience at least once in your life! It was like tapping into the ancient collective consciousness to help remember, heal and improve yourself. Words cannot describe what I felt in that arena with all the energies of the band and thousands of people. Tool will remain one of my favorite and most impactful bands of all time!

Your reactions always brings the feelings, but it was extra emotional tonight, as I just came home from their show in Stockholm. They actually played Pneuma as well. My first ever Tool concert, I dare say it was almost transcendental experience. I needed that. It is amazing how much meaning Tool can convey with so few words, almost Feynmanesque quality.

5:40 Wow I did NOT expect this messaging from these lyrics. I wasn't paying close enough attention. You hit the nail on the head, and I honestly started shaking a bit. I've recently started talking to this girl who has this way about her that, for the first time in at least a decade, she somehow just makes me relax, and breath. I even said this to her. She had me lay on her while she caressed my back, while I was anxious about some of the things I'm going through, and just told me to relax. My breathing changed completely, and it felt like I was exhaling these toxins out of my very soul, and momentarily I just fell asleep. And then I woke up feeling a million times better. That is exactly what you describe here. I cannot believe it. Wow. Thank you for that. Guys, gals, let me just say: Male loneliness is a real thing... and part of the reason we are alone is because there is a stigma that prevents us from letting us release our light. We have one foot nailed down, bound to this flesh, this guise, and this mask. Become Pneuma, people. Ok... I'll watch the rest of the video now.

This song and Rosetta Stoned are one of the hardest songs to play on guitar

Tool can dissect your innermost and hidden state of mind while engaging your sense of rhythm and making you oddly happy, despite the excruciating inner pain.

Oh hells yeah. The soothing notes of the opening guitar part. It immediately takes me somewhere, ya know? This is one of those much-needed songs that sort of calms me down when the world gets a little crazy. Helps my mind to escape in a way. Tool has always kinda had that effect on me though; that mental imagery through the music, ever since I first heard them in 1996. That's my favorite thing about them.

Hi, im from Spain. This song helped me so much in the summer of 5 years ago. I was very bad cause alergies and the heat waves. This song re-teach me how to breath and calm, kind of meditation rithm and music. Drums, guitar and bass is so cool, and also lyrics. Bur i have to say lately i dont like that much the singer cause im vegan and he make a vegan wine but... he upload a post joking about puting an oiled fried beacon in the frabrication of the wine... lol But i was in portugal with friends in the 10.000 days concert and it was so spiritual, i get a 3rd eye painted as part of make-up that the festival was offering and i feel the people in the concert like sea waves that i have to help no to fall like dominoes, but i guess i wasn,t only me. I play guitar and i think Adam Jones is one of the most important and creative and spiritual guitar players of our time. Thank u for the video, it was very interesting and fun, i love ur words and how u dance hehe ;)

It's latin for "air". The greek origin would be the god Aether, which personified a beautiful morning sky. In the Hymn to Aether it's mentioned that the breaths fire, but in the sense of "sparks of life". And yes, Assassins Creed: Odyssey made me curious about greek mythology and haven't stopped devouring books ever since. Who knew that video games can actually light a spark to dispel ignorance's darkness.

Have you ever checked out Devin Townsend? His song Spirits Will Collide is often listed as a very therapeutic song for his listeners. Personally, it's not one of the songs I gravitate towards, but it is certainly one of his more accessible, more radio friendly ones with a heart warming message.
