My now husband and I pray for my abusive ex ❤ I hate that he destroyed our marriage. I hate that out of his own childhood trauma, that he hates God and happiness, peace and love. I pray he wakes up and repents and runs to God!
I could have written this myself. Through all of his narcissist personalities he abused me like I have never seen. He told me he was gonna take everything away from me. My son found me and took me to the hospital. I don't remember being there. I lost 25 lbs. I had none of my meds in my system which I have RSD and was on pain meds, nerve pain meds BP, fluid etc. Technology reports showed none. I had multiple broken bones in my back which was causing problems with me being able to catch my breath that was two years ago that I was still suffering I'm having to use a walker because my spine is going forward now at the top going the other direction at the bottom I've been praying for healing and thanks to God even though the pain is horrendous he has allowed me to withstand the pain somehow it is a everyday battle but I feel sure that he's using me for his glory I saw a neurosurgeon recently at his only suggestion was a surgically implanted pain pump that is my last option I was giving it back brace that I was fitted for to wear and when I pulled my pants out I felt my shoulder rip. I went to my shoulder doctor yesterday because just a month or so ago he told me that my rotator cuff was torn almost completely off he told me there was no day to take pictures because there's nothing they could do I'm praying that the Lord would give me what I need to forgive him and a lot of ways I have but I just can't Forget I pray this helps someone The Narcissist won't get well because of you I guess it's going to take a break him in the head by the Lord or something I know he's trying to work in his life the God helping it hasn't helped him yet helped him yet I'm pretty sure he's found him someone else to play with cuz he realized I was going to take it anymore he finally said goodbye or his old terms which means conversation texting me just to be nosey. Oh how I love what Lysa said about CONSEQUENCES BEING BUILT INTO SIN AS A PACKAGE DEAL, and how we don't have to actually see the consequences happen to the one who wronged us to know that the consequences will happen, because it's a package deal. I'm someone who needs him to feel sorrow over what he did to me, and to recognize his wrongs, and for some natural consequences to happen, but there's no way for me to see them as I don't live near him anymore, and I've blocked him from all social media so that I don't hurt myself by looking...so I can never SEE any consequences happen to him. But I know they will, and I can leave him to God. What a process this is. It's a long road to healing. These videos are so helpful to a person who cannot afford ongoing therapy. Oh my goodness, You three are blessing my life tremendously! I have just recently found your videos through a recommendation of a dear friend. I just love this! What do you do when the trauma isn't at the hands of any one person? There are systems and governing bodies that enflict profound trauma. It's hard to hand that over to God with confidence that someone will be held responsible. How do you hold the entire medical system responsible for profound trauma it caused? How do you hold educational institutions accountable for the harm they have done?
I love Lysa and her insights. I would love to hear her thoughts from the other side. I am her husband not her. I was the one who ultimately caused the damage to my marriage of 32 years. I am trying to heal, grow and understand why I did the things I did and accept the consequences.
What she said about the difficulty of release! This has been the hardest part for me in trying to move forward in my marriage. I've felt like until that happens, things won't ever really change and I won't ever be able to fully trust him again. I'm trying to do what I can to heal our marriage, but I just don't see how that can happen without that revelation. This is so hard.
My husband and I have both contributed to my abuse. Out of his internal pain he caused me so much emotional and mental pain over a long time. But then because of neglect I really stuffed up. I don’t know how we would ever get past our past.
