Narcissistic personality disorder and borderline personality disorder are pretty closely associated I think, the Dad may or may not have a diagnosis, people use the word "narcissist" pretty loosely. The Dad sounds abusive and compulsively controlling in any case, his reported behaviour, if factual, are evidence enough of that. Time to jump ship, no diagnosis necessary I'd say.
Don't let the way the internet uses narcissist as a synonym for "toxic/abusive/shitty person". Personality disorders like NPD (and the rest of cluster B PDs) often originate from childhood trauma. Those people can usually benefit from proper treatment, both for their sake and the people around them.
Something i share with you about islam concerning parents is that you have to be there for them all time, especially when they need you most, if you see a successful man or woman today is because of how good he/she is to there parents. Love and respect them always.
BRO I don't fucking understand that shit! Just WHY fucking complicate life so much? ESPEICALLY YOUR OWN?!!! The dude got himself fucking arrested. Over something absolutely stupid. And now his child probably won't ever want to be around him again. I don't understand people that live on chaos. We only get one fucking life! Why in the goddamn fuck would you wanna complicate it so fucking much? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it burns my fucking ass from how goddamn stupid it is! I just can't wrap my head around it! I hope this person never is around their father again! Fuck that guy.
@@terrancemaulana4058nah I think he’s referring to an idea that u explain in a joke of two fish swimming when they come across another fish who says ‘hey, nice water today right?’. The two swim on and After a bit one turns to the other and says wtf is water.
Dude's clearly motivated, just not motivated to think. Breaks his child's car over a little trip abroad, a trip they were so scared about they didn't even tell beforehand? The _obviously deranged_ explanation is they'd be leaving like their mother 2 decades prior? Can't imagine why she left...
I think that the father, when his wife left him, left him with pain, and this pain shaped him for fear that his son would abandon him as well, so he may try to make him close to him, but breaking the car and activating problems is an exaggeration, but the boy's decision remains correct.
@@Dimitris_Half actually a psychologist would never consider someone a POS like you do, also a psychologist would be careful with bias inluded in the testimony
Good luck helping a psychopathic narcissist! You know how you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves? A narcissist sees NOTHING wrong with their behavior. That’s why they are so awful
The note was the bait. He gobbeled it up. Takes 2 to tango. Are you saying the note wasn't manipulative? If the person leaving is not a minor, there is more going on than "dad's a narcissist." While that might be true, how has "the victim" contributed to the disfunctional relationship? Better find out or else you'll just go find another narcisist to dance with.
My humble opinion: even though your father did a terrible mistake he's still your father Our parents are really precious and you don't realise that until they're gone Trust me I know 😔😔😔
@@BobbyMasteria The only thing that maybe points to them being female is the father comparing them to their mother. "crashed at a friends place" says male to me as I've rarely heard a female use crashed in that manner.
