One of my favorite songs. No one will do it as good as Maggie Peterson (Charlene) R.I.P. and the Darlings, but this is a really good version. The girl has a wonderful voice and the instrumentals are right on. Great job!
Both girls are highly talented and sings beautifully.God bless this family and may they use their musical talents for singing praises to the Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏🙏🙏
Great work family. I’m quite late seeing this. So much talent. These young ladies have wonderful voices. Mama and Daddy rounding it out. Thanks for sharing this song.
I can't believe that girl is getting that kind of sound out of that violin. And do you notice the complex chords of the girl on the mandolin? Way to go dad.
I agree that the young lady was getting incredibly deep and rich tones out of her violin! While I noticed the chords you mention by the young lady on the mandolin, what really heard coming out her was the beautiful mellow harmony that was coming out of her mouth! She could SING! What a blessing to get to see a family like that play so beautifully together!!!
The world should be alot more like your family BEAUTIFUL thank you so much for your beautiful family and music much love to you all or should I say Y'all

Your voices harmonize so beautifully together. Also, thank you for keeping this type of music alive, I don't know if you realize how incredibly good you really are and how much joy you bring to those lucky enough to discover you. Thank you and more please.
There is a time for love and laughter The days will pass like summer storms The winter wind will follow after But there is love and love is warm There is a time for us to wander When time is young and so are we The woods are greener over yonder The path is new the world is free There is a time when leaves are fallin' The woods are gray the paths are old The snow will come when geese are callin' You need a fire against the cold So do your roaming in the springtime And you'll find your love in the summer sun The frost will come and bring the harvest And you can sleep when day is done
If you had recorded this in your bathroom it would have helped the tiny voices. What a beautiful family. I think you are Christ followers. I just can sense it.
Wonderfully done folks! I've bookmarked this page and hope to revisit the Black Family String Band a few years from now. You're doing great right now and the sisters' harmonies are sweet. Wow, folks, really well done...
I am way up in years and it really touches me to see that we are still blessed by such a talented family. All of you are great! You as parents are blessed to have such talented children that obviously put a lot of time and effort into what they are doing.
