What we claim as spirituality is not spirituality but an attempt by the mind to sharpen the mind in order to get more output, and funny thing is mind is neither concern or is capable of any thing beyond mind itself. Most of us are thrilled about and do follow religions, gurus etc.etc. But remember, all that knowledge about most of us are thrilled of is someone else experiences, imaginations, fantasy .

Clearly K. has glimpsed brain activity as the content of mind and mind activity as consciousness. But this insight becomes rather rambling. Perhaps if he had been pinned down to a single point people may have had a clearer understanding where he was at. As it is, having listened to people discuss his words, each has their own opinion. Whereas there should be a common ground for although we are unique in our experiences we all function psychologically the same - the brain activity and sensation of say, fear, is the same for all humankind.

hmm...I suppose this is for people with existential crises. By truth I suppose he alludes to meaning of life. You will not find the truth. You will find your peace by creating your own meaning and mostly try to be a decent human. This spending a lifetime being tortured about the meaning of life is a relic of the past era, people who were not happy with religion turning to critical thought about life for a lifetime is a waste of time. Don't waste your time thinking on these matters , you will never get your answers. He learnt it at the end of his life. Better you learn sooner as you have the benefit of learning from his experience.

Just as when our hands and clothes get dirty , those can be washed away with soap, similarly when our minds gets dirty with vices, it can be also be washed with the divine wisdom There is a scripture that don't talk about belief system or heavenly promises, but sensitizes our minds to look within and urges us to understand the essence of the universe and who you are. Now if people don't look within, then Is it the fault of scripture or people? It is the choice of people to follow the instincts of their minds rather than to conquer them. Scriptures can motivate us inspires us or open the door of new dimensions of life, but WE HAVE TO ENTER BY OURSELVES. OK SO DON'T SAY EXTERNAL INPUT IS NOT REQUIRED. WHAT IS THE J.K. This is wrong. The path to truth is called science. Western science however, is far from truthful. What is the purpose of life for example? There ought to be a definitive answer. What is evil? There ought to be a definition (determinism) What is paradise? In my opinion it is freedom, which is spirituality, which is free will. I think it is impossible to do anything evil out of free will, because we're all good at heart. But life has to be difficult Maybe enlightenment is to align your beliefs in such a way that you see reality for what it is
