Staying with this theme, just adding to the "what you need" point of view. If you bank fish, especially in places like he does where a saw is part of your tackle, WADERS. Bank fishing is sooooo much more effective if you have a pair of Waders. One lake I fish is basically a dug out area, a large dug out area, where when the rains come in the spring, the water rises and floods the grassy/weedy areas where last summer you were standing on dry land, but now, you have figure out how to cast over the grass and weeds to get to the open water. Waders. They're stiff, bulky, the boots usually don't fit right, but if they are water tight, you can weeble walk your self to the edge of the flooded area and freely cast to the open water, or, work the edge where the grass meets the open water. Now you can move along the area and fish more effectively. Just remember that there are obstacles under the water so move carefully and think as you go. Great subject 4 L, more to fishing than just rods, reels and lures.
