This is how the end of the year 2020 went down here in Finland. From end of the summer until the beginning of winter. No international travels. No epic landscapes. Mostly just forests near my home. But I did find plenty of beauty in my backyard too.
Everything filmed between Aug 2020 and Jan 2021 in Espoo, Helsinki and one beautiful summer cottage in Lapinjärvi (I think?). Most places are within a walking distance from my home.

Also these words are a bit of a tribute to one of my favorite directors, Kim Kiduk, who lost his life to covid-19. He ended his movie 3-Iron (빈집) to a similar quote “It’s hard to tell that the world we live in is either a reality or a dream”. I've always loved these kind of thoughtful dreamy vibes.
