Every time I start my car I ALWAYS instruct my dashcam "NOT TO FILM PRIVATE CARS!" because it is against the law. It's such a disobedient dashcam because it NEVER listens to me!

Do these people realise that they are on CCTV all day and there cars on ANPR cameras on a regular basis? You can't have it both ways. If it's legal, it is legal for anybody to film from public. Also number plates aren't private. These rubbish arguments every single time. Comedy gold, walking up to a camera demanding not to be filmed. 🤦‍♀️

Blows my mind that anyone with a brain cell questions a car being filmed and uses the fact to disagree that its allowed considering the amount of cameras on the streets these days which film said cars ....

The first woman who approached you was totally unprofessional with a cigarette in hand. Redundantly, always is asked not to film the cars , employees privacy etc. They have to be reminded then, to build a very tall wall around the property. Somehow, they get that.

As an experiment, you should try telling them that you have a special camera that automatically blurs out number plates. Some kind of advanced technology that literally can't film any private information.

We need to exercise our rights and freedoms that people before us have fought so hard to achieve. Anyone is now entitled to take photographs of anything in a public place. Taking photographs of cars, people or business property is perfectly legal and lawful. What is unlawful is harnessing an innocent member of the public from going about their lawful business.

Whenever I'm trying to find out if someone works somewhere, I always just trawl random youtube videos in the hope that I just might spot their number plate in the background of a scene somewhere somehow. I find it's a really productive strategy.
