Adriano’s strength and long-range shooting ability were out of this world. The man could shoot from *anywhere*. With Adriano and Ronaldo upfront, Brasil were destined to win the World Cup.
@@ELITEHEAT2025 Stop talking about "Prime" everytime please, it's boring. Messi and Di Maria won the World Cup at 35years, Karim Benzema won the Ballon d'Or at 35yrs... Brasil don't won the 2006 World Cup because Brasil lost against France, and THIS DAY France were better organised. Thats it.
Nah man this compilation ain’t normal. Look at his strength that he used against Nesta,Maldini & Co. Plus having a crazy power shot with his left. His despression affected him crazy when he lost his father. He could been of the best striker ever. For me he’s my top 3 striker after R9 & Henry. And ofc the best PES player ever
You just had to be there bro. PES 5 Adriano could score from anywhere after the half way line lol . He bad 99 strength and 98 body balance alone meaning you couldn’t even put him off the ball! 😹Had 88 speed !! 90 acceleration, 99 shot power , 90 header and 89 shot accuracy so every time you shot on goal with him there is 90% chance you could score .
Very different player from R9. He was stronger than R9 and had way more shooting power. While r9 danced his way into the box, adriano simply forced his way through with sheer strength and the occassional trick or sombrero.
Strong LONG legs, very powerful torso, mighty balance. BRAZILIAN TECHNICIAN Pure power. VERy close to my idea of the perfect forward. Analogy to Rafa Nadal in tennis
@@salimuntari677 nadal could run across the court like a beast. His reach in difficult rallies was extraordinary, reaching balls struck with accuracy into distant positions and returning with ferocious accuracy and technic.
While I maintain that r9 is still the most perfect striker ever , Adriano if he’d reached his true prime would have been something we’ve never seen. Mind you in this video he was between 21 to 24 years old . His strength and explosive power was crazy
@@juliomiguel6597 am responsible for what i say. But am not responsible for what you understand. I never said Adriano is better than R9. So how did you reach there?!? In my country, folk like you are called thick. The train is going to Rabat but you want it to go to Tokyo type of reasoning.
He was very good and a version of Vieri or Drogba more technical. The problem is that his father died and he started to drink, afterwards he never recovered mentally. He was top 5 of the Europe strikers during his 2 first years at Inter Milan.
I remember him. I tough he looked like Ronaldno and Ronaldinho combined with Juninho Pernambucano's shots. Yet - there cant be that much talent in a single man, without a catch.
@@essengomakassi5538 If Cafu is too old to play right back, do you think he’d still have the potential to play as a winger? I don’t think he has enough left in the tank to be a back for a team aiming to win the FIFA World Cup or or to compete against France. (I've been cheering for Cafu since before the 1994 World Cup.)
@@bugbo6003 Cafu was too old for play in Right Back yes sure, but he was definitely able to play Winger or Right Midfielder. You know why ?? Because he is a WINGER, and a Winger is not made to play in DEFENCE !!!
The problem is that Brazilian footballers are not exactly known for their professional attitude and eagerness to train, there are hundreds of examples. Adriano is no exception. They used to be able to mask this purely with talent, but now the world has caught up and Adriano is a symbol of this change or transition period.
Adriano case is different he said in an interview that after his dad died he barely trained and only drank alcohol and he didn’t even want to play anymore . He only did it before he was under contract . He didn’t love football anymore and was depressed from that moment . He talked about it
@@waynebrady1819 Bro some players like Thiago Silva, Nene (former Paris SG, Monaco & West Ham), Marcelo, David Luiz, Willian, Hulk or Felipe Melo started their careers in the 2000's and are still playing today...
not the same skillset, but both very physical. it's just that Ronaldo could rely on his technique after losing both knees, and Adriano didn't have much left after his decay. would be the same if he remained on top
Players before had a lot of strength in their body. It's different now. People aren't bulky anymore, and even sportsmen in their late 30's look and feel like teenage kids, which is bad because it makes in sports games look weak.
One of the most powerful strikers ever. He looked to me like a real life analogue of Kojiro Hyuga from the popular series Captain Tsubasa. Unfortunately, his professionalism wasn't on par with his talent. Very gifted yet the fame and some personal issues went to his head and he let himself go.
The whole can count their blessings Adriano and r9 never played together in both their primes. Had r9 not had that knee injury and Adriano had reached his prime , we wouldn’t talk about msn . They would have destroyed everything !!
@@A2Genious and how old was he when Ronaldo 9 was toying with him? I do not think it is about age. Maldini just struggled with the best players. Age is not an excuse. If you are on the pitch, you have to deliver. Otherwise retire. People will call you the best ever, then apologize for when people were toying with you by saying that you were old. I am sorry but that is not good enough. If you are old, stay at home.
@@AlexFranck-ul8vh Every great Italian defender struggled against Brazilian Forwards, but that doesnt justify that you are not good enough,Even it took a talent like Messi 5 world cups to win a title, it seems like these days bunch of teenage dudes with internet connection act as if, they are at the top of the world. If you are young, have your feet on the ground and behave humble. May be this is a normal thing for so called western world.
@@PLBW81 people are saying he's the best Compare him.batistuta then top seria A at same time Don't get me wrong he's a talented footballer power shot strong on the ball but not as good as some make out. Aware some might not know him
@@steventownley3342 Dont get me wrong, I watched him back than, he was one of a kind - he and Zidane. Sure other great players were fantastic too Neded for Example. But Ronaldo´s present on the pitch was magic. As Ibrahimovic said "he changed the game" or Mourinho said "He was the best I trained better than everbody else but lazy"
@@steventownley3342 also he had some serious injuries - career ending injuries and was never the same after -he have seen only a shell of his former self and still great, people forget this. he came back and in his comeback game - again serious injury. and still performed after
He bodied maldini lmfaoo, I see ibra, that guy fat Ronaldo own maldini never see the same with vvd but some mfs trying to convince ppl he's the goat lmfao imagine he him facing prime Messi or cr7😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Tips4Tat 😂😂🤣 the guy played against legends like Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Stam, Thuram, Samuel, Ayala, Mexes, Panucci, Chivu... You're wrong, the defenders of TODAY are awful
@@essengomakassi5538 A lot of assumptions in your post. 1. How old are you? 2. I'm not a fan of today's game at all 3. If you watch this compilation and didn't see repeated examples of terrible defending then, you too know little of how to defend. 4. Even in bygone eras I lamented that coaches couldn't figure out 1 basic idea (although it's not the end all be all) -- DO NOT PUT SLOWER PLAYERS IN THE BACK LINE -- THEY WILL EASILY GET OUTPACED ESPECIALLY IF YOU EVEN DREAM OF PLAYING AN OFFSIDE TRAP
