I can honestly say the wps piston in my super deluxe is amazing. There are so much smoother and big hits it just soaks them up no hint of bottom out, and i was able to go from a 800lbd spring on my old fox dhx2 coil to a 500 on the rockshox. i even bought a 550 thinking it ant be right but they know there stuff , im sure uou will love it
I had a push coil conversion on my Fox 36 about 3 years ago, but never been happy with the small bump sensitivity. Would love to know if J tech would be able to see what s going on. need to save my pocket money ;😉😉
I think theres a mistake at 7:51: If you increase the pressure (which is essentially a preload) in the '++'-chamber you would need more force to get that '++'-piston to move. And that additional force can only be generated by compressing the air in the main chamber more and thus using more travel. It makes the engagement "nose" in the curve move up along the force axis. But as the nose has to be on the main air chamber curve it also has to move right towards higher travel. From my understanding the following can be adjusted with that system: - increasing only the '++' chamber pressure makes it open up later in travel _and_ at a higher force but will result in a steeper ramp up towards bottom out. (and vice versa) - increasing only the main chamber pressure will make the '++' open up sooner in the travel but at the same force. ramp up characteristics do not change much other than being "offset" up from the higher pressure in the main chamber
No offense to Gtech guys these are proper suspension nerds it’s a good thing though because these guys really know what they’re doing they’re amazing cannot wait to see what this bike looks like and the sausage roll hiding it’s epic And at 19:11 RIP Camera had to watch that at least three times funny as
