@@ignithyahomura6488 And then you face THAT ONE GUY in locals that milled Horus LV6 (funnily enough they can mill the lv monsters), then activates Thrust to add Level Up, while you look at your 5 Runick card hand.
I personally like mixing the Horus cards with Punks. Heck i even play 2 of the punk lvl 11 cause with 1 punk combo going off you can set up a bounce for 3-4, a draw 2 and a search for the Punk imperm
I met a traveller from an antique format, Who said-“Two vast and trunkless decks of brick Stand in the locals. . . . Near them, on the ground, Half sunk a shattered Decklist lies, whose rares, And wrinkled sleeves, and sneed of cold command, Tell that its pilot well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the extra that fed; And on the winner's bracket, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, Dueler of Duelists; Look on my Deck, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level banlist stretch far away.”
Wow, that Labrynth player was TRYING to lose. Didn't summon the Fenrir from hand in game 1 for...no discernible reason, gave up Lady for the most mediocre Chaos Angel ever, and somehow decided that Bystials were profitable in game 3 against a deck with like one target in the main deck, then STILL waited until you'd already summoned it to fire the Bystial. Truly incredible.
@@FM103.5i actually am that T.G. player lol, looking back on it, I didn’t have to destroy the dragnar on the board already and could’ve just made star guardian adding back salamander and still making baronne before going into the second dragnar
My favourite use of the Horus cards has to be with Springans, building on the graveyard and lvl/rank8 synergies makes them pair nicely with eachother while being able to function independently if you only see one of the halves. Sure its not a meta deck but the bump in consistency and ceiling that the Horus cards give Springans should be enough to at least take games from even the best decks
I think where Horus shines is as an engine of 3 imsety, 3 sarc, 1 duam, 1 Hapy. Don't play the other one it's bad anyways. Plus it just adds more bricks. The entire purpose is to make a rank 8, or use for synchro/link material, mostly rank 8s tho. Specifically Gaintrainer. Gaintrainer is what makes imsety on its own technically a discard 3 draw 4, which on its own is insane. Dingirsu, Photon, Zombie vamp, and of course just immediately go into sargas for Regulus search. If your deck can use that, it's pretty solid. As a deck on its own, it's pretty meh, but as an engine, it's wildly strong. Who needs prosperity when you can straight up draw 4 cards deep and go +1 in hand size.
the field spell is basically 3 (or 4 if you count terraforming) more copies of imstety. that could be the nail in the coffin for horus flying under the radar. I hope they don't kill it too hard on the banlist
I'm interested in seeing a copy or two of the Horus trap in a mill strategy. Having part of the engine actually be a good mill that makes the rest of the engine good mills seems relevant.
Works better with Runick since it gives you super consistent access to a light+dark Chaos Angel, easier link plays and a ton of hand traps. Plus that one Horus if on the field can recycle Fountain if it gets banished or destroyed, the turn it's banished or destroyed.
This list should play utopic draco future instead of draglubion and number 100. A used giantrainer and zombie vampire are perfect for draco future, also this deck has no trouble killing opponents anyway
I use this deck on YgoOmega and it's crazy : Monsters 2 Dark Hole Dragon 3 Horus the Black Flame Deity 3 Imsety, Glory of Horus 2 Qebehsenuef, Protection of Horus 2 Hapi, Guidance of Horus 2 Duamutef, Blessing of Horus 2 Diabellstar the Black Witch 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Spell 1 Harpie's Feather Duster 1 Terraforming 3 Trade-In 2 Dark Hole 3 Sinful Spoils of Doom - Rciela 3 King's Sarcophagus 3 Stone Wall of the Imperial Tombs Trap 2 Torrential Tribute 3 Canopic Protector Extra 2 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder 3 Garunix Eternity, Hyang of the Fire Kings 3 Number 1: Infection Buzz King 3 Springans Ship - Exblowrer 1 Number 100: Numeron Dragon 3 S:P Little Knight Extra deck is just for fun, I use it very rarely because this deck is a 95% otk.
Gunna be a TLDR buttttt a little tip for this deck. Add lonefire blossom. If you get fucked out of SS a mon youre kinda screwed plus you can just tribute it and get a therion on board. Or if anything it is just an extender. Also I play 3 effect veilers in main. I can end on Shenshen and lock out GY plays going first. I also added Number 15 to the ED. Twice per either players MP you can detach and destroy a SS mon they control inflicting their atk as damage to their LP so its a great time card. Also another GY removal card is Number 68, he 1) gains 100 atk/def for every mon in either GY also detach a card and he cant be destroyed by card effect AND until the end of your oppenents next turn neither player can SS from the GY. I have some other differences in my ED but those are rhe main ones. Anyway i REALLY like my build of Therion Horus and its what im gunna be playing for this up coming format. 🫡
@@kidumby7599 has correlation, comparison. Not calling the very obviously meta labrynth not meta is like calling the very obviously not meta traptrix and exosisters, meta. Stay in school kid
Yeah, Labyrinth is very much a deck that's on the bubble, where Traptrix and Exosister are way more "obviously" off-meta. Shame your school doesn't seem to teach object permanence.
I tried playing horus in vampires but I honestly don't really like them. They are just a basic rank 8 engine and a way to dump cards from your hand to the grave. I get it that it's a strong engine but that doesn't mean it's fun to use.
Boy am I glad Therions are a fully realized archetype that can hold its own against decks while having a unique playstyle based on equipping monsters. Wouldve been a shame if they were a ploy to sell an omni-negate that lost relevance after a month or two.
It's the same idea in a much less clunky package. Pendulums being a mechanic instead of one archetype or a family of archetypes really was it's downfall
