The ThermoPro TP930 features USB-C charging and pairs effortless with the ThermoPro app. Initial setup was as simple as charging the ThermoPro using the included USB-C cable, downloading the ThermoPro App from the App store and then powering on the ThermoPro so that the appm would detect it. The process could not have been more straight-forward. Using the ThermoPro app is simple. It's easy to select from a catalog of meat doneness temperatures and all to define your own parameters. The ThermoPro can monitor meat temperature and/or ambient temperature. Up to four probes can be used concurrently. It features an integrated hook for hanging and an integrated stand for placing on a table or the ground. The wires on the temperature probes were long enough to comfortably reach from my grill to the ground. This is an easy-to-use and convenient system. I'm able to walk throughout my house and continue to monitor my cooks from my phone. The device itself also features an integrated display and light, so temperatures can be monitored from the device itself if desired. Also, audible alarms can be set for when defined temperatures are met. ThermoPro really knocked it out of the park with this little device and I love the orange color too! #ThermoPro #BBQ

Have you tried the completely wireless Meater yet? It is a game changer. The actual probe is the entire system that connects directly to the phone app.

I have not. So it all goes inside of the smoker or grill (nothing outside)?

Exactly. It's pretty amazing. There are several like this but Meater seems to be the best one right now. There's a version 2.0 that has some good upgrades on the bluetooth connection. Might be kind of a neat "cook off" with the one you have there vs. Meater. I think there's a Meater package with multiple probes so you can do the meat(s) and the ambient cooking temp. Hey I see you had the older model, the TP25. Do you notice any difference. Also funny I googled TP930 and started watching this video and I'm like where do I know this guy from. And it hit me, before I bought my Schwinn IC4 a couple years ago I watched some of your videos on it.

That’s funny about the IC4….great bike! Subscribe and check out my ThermoPro videos that are more recent than this one. All work great but I get incredible range from the newest models! #ThermoPro

Is it water resistant?

Great question! I don't want to falsely claim water resistance but mine has survived a few pop-up rain showers while smoking. I've never submerged it in water though.

Yeah it wouldn’t be a good idea to submerge with open probe ports but they seem to avoid sharing that info for some reason. I may contact them directly and see what info I get.
