I am an MD and have seen miraculous health results/labs for patients on plant based/vegan diets as well as miraculous health results/labs for patients on carnivore diets. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT therefore ONE TYPE OF DIET DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. You have to use the diet that is best for YOUR health and genetics, and that sometimes is a trial and error process. I am therefore not one of those "haters" taking one side or the other (carnivore vs vegan). However, these foods he recommends are healthy, so if you can work some of them into your current eating plan, you should try even if you need to modify the recipes (e.g., diabetics can use stevia or allulose instead of honey/syrup). Or just EAT blueberries and don't put them in a recipe at all. But remember you are a snowflake and unique and your diet should make you feel healthy and energized. If you feel tired and lethargic after eating, that may be a sign that what you are eating is not the right diet for you. But listen to YOUR body, it will let you know what the right eating plan is for you. Best of luck to all.
Dr Li. Thank you for your great coverage concerning stem cell research. So important. Thank you so much and your knowledge and research is great. God bless you and what you do for others!
These recipes sound great I cant wait to try them , what about peach recipes and cherry recopies. we love all fruit. Thank you, Dr. Li, for helping us stay healthy.
I love the recipes you share! All of the recipes contain everything I love to eat. I can not wait to try them and share them with my husband and family!
Thank you for this informative video! The blueberry crisp sounds delicious and packed with antioxidants. It's great to learn how something so tasty can also promote stem cell regeneration. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Love all these foods, eat them often. By eating plant based I no longer am diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and my labs couldn’t get any more perfect! More recipes please!
Thank you so much for creating these amazing desserts, I absolutely love dessert and rounds a meal off nicely, I am always looking for healthy ideas so thank you so much and keep them coming
So is spinach but it’s promoted all the time. I guess you have to be selective on what you choose to eat for one benefit while not the best on other things.
Vitamin C & antioxidants in fruits & Cacao are very heat sensitive n easily destroyed by it. So can we really reap the benefits except when we eat them raw and cold
They all sound wonderful, I think my favorite would be blueberry crisp or chocolate cranberries. I gave up deserts years ago so these would be awesome to have ready to go
@@bobsmith5441there's an article on Consumer Reports and also others around on the net. Just do a search for it. It gives brand names and levels, and which ones to avoid.
* NB blueberries are sadly farmed with very high levels of Pesticides. INVEST in Bicarbonate of Soda & soak veg & fruit for Minimum of 20min to remove. Unless your able to buy Certified Organic Products.
Nice video. BUT Almond Milk doesn't have Vitamin D naturally. Those producing it ' ADD' ** D** Some counties don't add vitamins to their products. E.G. Sri Lanka
@vitazenhealth TVP takes on the taste of whatever you want. I used it to replace my oatmeal during my weight loss journey. I love oatmeal, but it was just too high in carbs & calories. I used hot water to rehydrate my 1/2 C TVP 1/4 C soy milk , 2 dates, topped with berries, and it was delicious. I also use it in savory dishes too. Especially dishes that use ground beef. So, use it for tacos, meatballs, and sloppy Joe's. Plus, TVP is a good source of not only protein but iron, magnesium, & phosphorous. 1/2 Cup serving Oatmeal. TVP 140 calories. 80 calories 5 g protein. 24 g protein 3 g fat. 0.5 g fat 27 g carb. 9 g of carb 4 g fiber. 9 g of fiber
I can't tolerate the sugar and caffeine in chocolate.Sugar and all high carbohydrate foods give me hypoglycemic headaches and caffeine gives me caffeine withdrawal headaches
I can understand how that would be really tough for you. It sounds like you have to be very mindful about your diet to avoid those unpleasant symptoms. Have you found any good alternatives that you enjoy?
Also cranberries and raspberries (pictured) are high in oxylates, along with the almonds, chocolate, sweet potatoes, and, don’t forget, spinach, just in case you like to add it to your smoothies. Real no-nos for kidney health.
@@vitazenhealth Then I'll also add such desserts should remain just that, an after thought to a savoury meal, cuz our days proceed better, glycemically, if we start out with a savoury breakfast, says the glycogen goddess, or whatever her name is. I
What bothers me about this is the high level of carbohydrates. I saved my life, cured my diabetes, stopped inflammation, and lost 85 pounds on the carnivore diet. If I ate this much carbs I’d be spiking insulin like crazy, putting on weight, and suffering from severe inflammation. I will get the dark chocolate and cranberries provided the dark chocolate is available with allulose and not sugar
@@Rach_-wq5me diabetics become diabetics because they eat sugar. Sugar is deadly for everyone. Please do more research before you make such statements implying sugar is OK for people who are not diabetic. Where do you think diabetics come from? Unless you’re a type one and born with it, type two is acquired from eating sugar and carbohydrates.
Dark chocolate contains trace amounts of metals like lead and cadmium, absorbed from the environment by the cocoa plant. The levels can vary, but are generally considered safe for moderate consumption by health standards. To ensure safety, opt for brands that test for and minimize heavy metal content.
@acs5008 I have read elsewhere that the Ghirardelli brand of chocolate tests for heavy metals and is the safest. They are a little more expensive than some others, but not not excessively, and I have found them on sale at times.
ALWAYS great to be well and feel well. But this body only lasts so long ... we are MADE to rust! Eat well. Better yet. Choose LIFE. Choose Jesus. TIme is running out.
Guys, if you're talking about cranberries, please DO NOT show the picture of red currants. Similarly if the conversation is about dark chocolate, please don't picture milk chocolate, etc...
sounds like an industry funded ai generated promo for all the foods health advocates are saying to limit or avoid... high oxalate sweet potato, almonds, sugar rich fruits etc etc
@@vitazenhealth Oats are good for health. Sorbet can cause liver fat. Vitamin C oxidates at the presence of oxygen and there's more. Cacao has to be organic, otherwise you poison yourself with cadmium.

Avoid gluten Diary products in small amounts but they need to be organic. Avoid rice and replace with buckwheat ,quinoa, teff... Difficult to take seriously a video with a spelling mistake - comming - in the opening shot. And the flavour in Early Gray tea is bergamot not orange. I know this is only youtube but facts is facts.
could we please get to a point in time where WE KNOW what thing do to us? theres still far too much speculative jargon in this video - "could help", "may help" ... arent we now in the age of enlightenment and truth? this video seems nothing more than an advertisement for 'dr' li ...
Because different people react differently to a certain diet. We should eat related to season, to our health, and to our type of metabolism. While I can eat a lot of raw vegetables and fruits, there are people who can only eat those cooked. Adapt the diet to your body, don't just adopt it as is.
Chocolate - high in oxalates and sugars, cranberries high in sugars; mixed berries and almond milk - extremely high in oxalates and sugars as are most berries and strawberries are the most polluted with pesticides; blueberries - also high in oxalates; so, dear doctor - you're clueless and should not be allowed to spread such unhealthy advice!
These are healthy carbs and most desserts are carbs, if you don’t like carbs just don’t eat desserts simple, I don’t have diabetes or weight problems so I’m happy to indulge in these delicious healthy desserts as a weekend treat with my family and they contain no dairy or sugar
