That difficult access to the apparently-loved rooftop deck is puzzling. Most of these had laundry either in the building or in the unit, a big plus. All of them were expensive for the square footage.

"Even in a luxury apartment, not everything is perfect." NYC kitchens remind me of Transformers cartoons but not in a good way, and that one foyer where you have to close the closets to get to the front door, it's like an apartment building that transforms into an apartment building. As for size of bathtubs or 'walk in' closets, NYC apartments appear to be designed for short people like Crash or Tom Cruise. I'm pushing close to six feet, so I doubt I'd last a month living in Manhattan before I'd want to move to Brooklyn just so I can stretch. Seems people live in NYC apartment buildings just to remind them how nice it is to go outside.
@couriersix8294

its not that bad and most of em are compact bc lots of the buildings are over a hundred years old and where built when people were like 5,5 on average and too fit as manny people in as possible

i would happily pay...up to 650 for any of these appartments, lol. with the miniscule everything vibe going on in these i don't see any real value in them as a living space, maybe a one night/weekend/week stay holiday place...at least not at their asking price that is. i'm not hating on them btw, they are far better than my current living situation. but they also charge almost double my income.

So many of the apartments you show are totally outrageous...I'm from N.Y. but long gone from there &can't even fathom those rents for so much crappy little holes you're supposed to exist in. The fixtures in these apartments look high-end to a certain degree; but the bathrooms are too close to the kitchen. This gives CROSS CONTAMINATION VIBES. Whoever did the interior design didn't take this factor into account; including the kitchen appliances which doesn't give the renter(s) any room to open or close these fixtures sufficiently. 😒 As always: Just. My. Observation. ☝

Apartment #3-Surely they could have fit a beverage cooler in that kitchen 😂 Apartment #2 is giving me nightmares between the exposed brick (hate it!) and those pipes running overhead-i don't know what they are, but what if they're drain pipes and waste water is flowing over your apartment just waiting for a leak? Last apartment I like the best, but I'd want it as the original big studio instead of the dividing wall. The fridge door not opening all the way is a deal breaker.
