Carbon Fairings really aren’t that expensive. Motocomposites make very oem quality parts and for a fantastic price ! As hard as you went with the tank and other parts, I woudnt have fake carbon anywhere near that bike, out of respect for the build.
I'd recommended sitting on the bike in a racing crouch to check if you can see through or over that dark screen. If you're planning to take it to a track, you're going to need good visibility when you're flat on the tank so you may have to change it for a lighter tint.
Guess this really depends on the size of the rider. I myself can NOT for the life of me get in a full tuck position where I’ll also be able to see through the windshield. I’m 6’ and ride an R1. I cannot position myself where my head will fall be “under” the windshield. But “my” full tack still works for me aerodinamics-wise. So there’s that I guess haha
I can vouch for this tinted windscreen. It may look very dark from the naked eye but when in a tucked position the tint doesn't really affect visibility unless riding at night
@@doxic5574You must have a different screen because, in the wrap up videos, Chase confirmed that he ordered the wrong version by mistake and that this one is solid black and not transparent.
I personally don't think that the Rizoma Wingmirrors fit the R6. And the fact that so many youtube people use them they're abit "ausgelutscht" (German term, sucked dry) Imo the Stock mirrors looked pretty fresh, could have been built abit nicer.
Genau! They’re the worst mirrors I’ve ever seen on a motorcycle. You can’t see Jack shit through them. And like you said, everybody and their grandma is putting this on their bike ffs. Motorcycling has become a meme
prolly has alot to do with the type of people that post comment claims that they cant see through mirrors, that they have never owned....... @@RiderInRed
Carbon fiber look, looks awesome! As far as spare parts goes, we’ve got bags and bags of spare parts laying around from salvage bikes and duplicate screws and fasteners sent with mods and other stuff. Separate note, if the thought is to seriously consider track time, please include the clear windscreen with the giveaway. Clear is an absolute must for visibility on track; especially in rain or dusk conditions. I’ve used black out before in all conditions and although it is manageable it’s a less than ideal experience.
I think it's going to look awesome. You've already got my wheels spinning. Planning on getting the 2024 model mt10. I'd like to have the sp, but I'm not going to be waiting on it if I can find the base model first. Yamaha just announced the 24 model mt09.. They upgraded the brakes, suspension and a few other things. It's supposed to be coming with a 5 inch tft also.. Sure am hoping that it finds it's way to the mt10 also
Not sure on your track rules but in my area you gotta have a clear windscreen, and how could you not afford real carbon, that bike now looks like an aliexpress special
Honestly, I'd also rather prefer just black fairings over fake carbon. Despite these looking really good for fakes, just not a fan of how grey these are and more a matte carbon person.
OC: Personally, I think I would’ve done a single bar end mirror and block off plates. I don’t see a need for the “winglet” look. If you know what I mean. And that Rizoma price just pushes me away💀
Quality parts but builders got awful taste - dark windscreen is non-functional and screams squid as sh*t for a track oriented bike, vision is a very big consideration - M color scheme feels like a wannabe should created an own identity or correct livery for an r6 maybe a WSSP livery than "Copying" a flagship color, Yamaha made it unique so you can identify and distinguish them from other models, copying it defeats its purpose. - fake carbon made the bike looks cheap, Chinese and it's easily noticeable to some people, it's just screams "FAKE" - mirrors are non-functional both in vision and aero, it doesn't have enough surface area to create a downforce,. If there are ricer in car scene, those ricer mods IMO
Am I the only one that thinks this bike that could have been sooo good just gets cheaper each episode… exhaust that doesn’t fit, now fake carbon and the ruroc of mirrors… I really don’t get why people like those stealth mirrors 🙈 love the build and videos, but for a bike that was supposed to be so special, it’s a shame to see corners sort of being cut with fake carbon, but $400+ on a to triple clamp…🧐
@@MotovationUSA edit* don't own them anymore lol. Tried them. As mirrors they are horrendous. Yes they are nice. But they are not great functioning mirrors. No way close to stock mirrors. I've ridden with them on a 22/23 r1= terrible. 23 v4 = terrible. 22 s1k= terrible 15 s1k= terrible. 23 zx6r= terrible probably a couple other bikes I can't think of. They are absolutely a waste of 400$+. But that's just my opinion. I used to ride with no mirrors but the stock r1 mirrors are soo good. 🤷
@@MotovationUSA experts don't ride with those overpriced junk. They delete their mirrors 🤔 u aint got no legs bro. You prob got no arms that's why you can see out the rizomas 🤣. Hope you atleast ride the bikes you install stuff on 🤭
If your extremely skinny they will work just fine, if your on the bigger side these suck ASS, you cant see shit backwords unless you put your arms up and move around a tad bit
All those Stealth Mirrors are Garbage you cant see anything.. Ive purchased and returned them all. Zig Zagging traffic with those mirrors on my Panigale.. felt like a blind man with dog switching lanes.. went back to my stock mirrors.. I rather stay alive than Style
OC: "looking illegal as hell" -Chase 😅 Man YT is straight up not giving me notifications for half the subscriptions and bells I ring....made me miss the premiere 🤬 Bye Patty 👋🏻
