Personally I’d play Pendulum Evolution & tech in a copy of Supreme King Dragon Odd-eyes for another potential search with its Pendulum effect since you’re also using Revolution Dragon. Also Magician of Hope to both trigger Pendulum Evolutions 2nd pendulum summon & using as a target for the Supreme King trap card.

After playing the handtrap version of the deck it seems both have their weaknesses. The handtrap version while consistent and being able to play handtraps lacks the power to play through handtraps themselves and boards feel definitely lack luster

There’s a lot of ways you could build this deck and get similarly good results

The master of pendulum z-arc is back

Maybe destrudo is an option because with darkworm dragon shrine is in the deck and dragons ravine is also an option. With destrudo and any level 4 non tuner you can summon the symphonic warrior synchro pendulum monster, that lets you add a face-up pendulum from extra deck to hand, its level 7, in other words material for the rank 7 odd-eyes to go into vortex and its a way to trigger the pendulum evolution in turn 1 to get the second pendulum summon

I mean this wave of support actually solved the weakness of pendulum going second but lithium didn't notice that is you now don't have to play too many engine cards(p call, dualist alliance...)or pendulum monster. have enough free space (9~12) to play boardwipe or handtrap without losing consistency (as show on trif video

Will you test the new archfiend/resonator cards? That deck might also work with an earthbound engine

The new trap is also helpful to give the deck an alternative to play through DRNM

Lith are you sure about Pendulum Evolutions being a trigger effect? In the translation I read was clearly an ignition-like effect. I would have preferred a display of Zarc as a pseudo dbarrier/boardwipe being the wincon and more use of the Trap lineup instead of typical Performapal with just Gate Magician. It has all the tools for a great control/mid-range deck that can still perform combo lines if needed. For example, the new Zarc is nasty with Antihuman Intelligence or Dracoverlords post-side (against Purrely/SHS respectively) and offers a double boardwipe against Kash while Zarc itself is untouchable by them.

My guy the og pendulum magicians came out in 2014 aka timegazer and stargazer Astrograph and chronograph there evil upgrades came out in 2017 in the tcg

Why do you make vortex on your turn instead of going into IP and leaving absolute on field. IP linking away the absolute on opponents turn gets you an extra bounce.

Why is Brave Eyes in the extra deck? Is it just in case Venom gets banished? If so, wouldn't another Venom card like Greedy or Predapower work better?

I think the retrain version of Chronograph sorcerer should have a Pendulum Effect where Supreme King Zarc cannot be tributed or used as material.

I don't think I've ever wanted a card gone more than Apo, I'm flat out just tired of seeing it. The rest? Really cool, I just wish pendulum did something besides spam the same generic stuff we've had for years now.

if you're pendulum build intentions is break my negation board than z-arc isn't for you. z-arc is a path of combo aggro, not combo control, you're trying to do all 3 and it's not going to run smoothly like it did against tear. you're also ignoring some overwhelming tactics in summoning z-arc on your turn since pendulum evolution's pendulum summon is a main phase action, having z-arc attack all monsters, and summoning a supreme king dragon for every monster it destroys is more lethal than anyone could ask. you're build is so focused on the new cards you're not looking at the potential older cards that are searchable now, like regular souls (which can summon the 4 dimensional magicians to enable a z-arc summon with full effects), and supreme rage which can summon the supreme king dragons, including dark wyrm and light wyrm, which triggers a search, a synchro summon, a monster nuke, and rage's grave effect to attach materials to dark rebellion that was summoned by rage.

These cards are so odd...
