People don't notice this enough but Rare Beauty's Happy isn't a true cool toned pink. It's nearly coral, and a slightly warmer take of the pink that 2020s have come to finally appreciate. If someone had a massive blush collection and swatched them all TOGETHER on the arm, and I mean a collection that isn't only viral tiktok makeup or PR sent to all tiktokers, it would become obvious where Happy would sit in a color wheel. Which makes it perfect for warm toned people, so they can create that look without it looking too off- it's the bright/barbie pink for warm-tones. This is why I think it went viral. However, I'd love for Selena to come out with some more cool tones, esp. ones that are obviously cool, even if muted. Edit: I know she has Hope, Encourage, and Believe, but sometimes (of the 2 I have) they can go a bit orange/warm. I have to manipulate it to stay pink/mauve/cool, and I don't want to have to do that.

I agree with you. Happy is not cool toned. I bought it thinking it was but it pulls so warm and bright on me. I also wish she would come out with cooler shades.

yeah it's not cool toned at all. There are lots of swatches online comparing it to other popular pink blushes and you can see it looks very red. I do wish they came out with a true cool pink blush! Same goes for LYS Humble.

In general rare beauty runs very warm toned, I’ve noticed. More peaches and corals than true pinks. Some brands tend to release more warm tones, CT does that too

I have been addicted to the Milani Luminoso blush for years. And, with neutral to coral lip colors. But, after watching you discover pink has caused me to add more pink to my collection! So I just picked up a very inexpensive blush from Elf in Bright Pink, and have loved playing around with it, adding some shimmer to it with a highlighter etc. If I try any other blushes, I'll go for the new baked Essence blushes. They look gorgeous. I'm still a fan of powdered products!

The Flower Beauty blush in Wild Rose is perfect. It shows up as bunny pink on my cheeks and perfect for those Barbie effect or Douyin makeup styles (skin tone warm beige to warm Ivory depending on season). It's affordable, easy to find and better than some other more expensive brands to be honest.

Love Love Love this video. I have collected quite a few cream blushes in my collection lately. I didn’t care for them at first, but now I love them. I don’t wear foundation or anything on my face except blush and highlight. I use to wear it all before the pandemic, then we got stuck wearing masks and I only did my eyes. Then we stopped wearing masks for maybe 2 months and I did try wearing foundation again and I didn’t like it anymore. My skin always felt itchy and yucky. I just didn’t like it anymore. I have even tried tinted moisturizer. We had another breakout of Covid at work, so we only got to go without a mask for 2 months and we are back to wearing them all the time. I still wear blush and highlight though and do my eyes. Love all the blushes. I wish I could afford the Haus Labs one, because it is absolutely stunning. Anyways, another fantastic video. Patrick Ta has like 5 bright pink blushes in his line if you are into the cotton candy blush. She's a Doll, She's Giving, 2 new ones inthe palette he just released. Great choices though, I have all of these here but the 2 indie palettes lol! You should try RMS French Rose.

blush, highlighter, bronzer are the categories where drugstore is best....under 20USD there r tons of great blushes...probably best one is juvias place (both liquid and powder)...specially juvias place liquid blush is soo great that it doesnt require to add powder blush and its soo longlasting....waste of money is to buy from sephora/expensive ones
