Thumbs up from me 👍 as the OZ Superturismo GT was the first aftermarket set of wheels I ever purchased back in the day when I started autocrossing. Now I realize they are a bit heavy for their respective size, but they are strong and look great on a Euro. Still have them in my collection many years later.
Just nabbed a set of Super Advan SA3r 15x6.5 4x100 with center caps. Always wanted a set and finally found em. It and the VSKF are the best wheels every made.
You should've called video "iconic jdm wheels." Some ideas from the euro scene: Schmidt Revolutions, RH PD1s, Ronal Turbos, Ronal R9s, OZ Futuras and Borbet Type A's. Luckily, there are so many you can do a whole series on kickass vintage hoops! ✌️
I would like to see a highlight on the oz superturismo but I dunno if it's iconic enough? In the rally a circles and euro touring car world they where popular. Also howabout a throw back mention to the corvette "salad shooters" making a comeback as now everything 80s, besides me, is cool again
None of your wheels are most iconic. Most iconic. 70's Cragar SS every muscle car in the day had them or next American Racing rims Thrust. Next 80's Centerlines for Mustangs or IROC's if import at this point GTi BBS classic laced wheels or a nice set of OZ or Mono wheels for more modern cars. Beyond that all wheels are just a mash of styles I find.
As someone who has been into cars for 20 plus years I disagree with a lot of this. 1. BBS RS 2. BBS LM 3. TE37 4. WORK meister s1 5. Rotiform BLQ (because it was the first and started a huge following) The vs kf was a bad choice, this is totally out of fashion these days and has aged poorly, even the vs xx is more iconic than this.
