The warm weather is here and I need something to make it more comfy for outdoor work.
I was watching a RU-vid channel called “Big Son's Lawn Care'. Here is a link:

One time Renaldo, AKA Big Son, was using what he called 'cool arm bands'. They looked pretty decent to me so I went looking for some.

Hi Mike!! Love those sleeves but they look warm. I hope they work repeatedly for you. Praying for you and your sweet Janet. I hope you had somewhat of a good Father’s Day. My hubby’s was a disaster! He had one incident after another. His two chickens he was trying to cook as rotisserie for the first time and they ended up on the coals below😂. We ate dinner around 10 or 11pm. You take wonderful care of Janet and yourself too. You looked thin on UTUBE tonight. It was about 92 today and should be about the same for quite a few days. Love to you and Janet 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

How's she goin'? Thanks for watching Cathy!! My Father's Day was pretty quiet, but that was by design. Two of our boys were here through the week and our middle son, Chris, was lucky enough to get tickets to the Stanley Cup game in Edmonton last Saturday, so he was out of town. The lucky guy, he got to see a pretty good hockey game!! He and his son went. His son paid for the trip out west as a Father's Day gift to Chris!! Not too bad eh!! Too bad about Bill and his rotisserie. But 'blackened chicken' is a thing isn't it!!! LOL Janet is doing better each day I think. More steps forward than back these days!! I like that part. Those sleeves look nice. I am always balancing my time in the sun and dealing with insects too. My skin is whiter than fresh snow and I need to be careful in the sun.

Those sleeves are cool for sure! I saw a guy with gangland tattoos all the way down to his wrists at the grocery store and I took a wide berth around him. At the till, I noticed that the tattoos were in fact sleeves like this!! Better careful than not around wild tattoos I say. Renaldo makes anything he wears look cool. I wonder what other patterns are available? They say that bugs can be attracted to checkers and contrasts so best not to get the tattoos....maybe a nice plain beige, eh. I have never heard of the cool arms they look interesting I may have to check them out . My arms don't really sun burn they just turn dark brown but that's probably not good for my skin . Continued prayers for you and Nannie and I'll see you on the next one

I use to use those quite a lot many years ago when I was a runner. They work well to protect you from the sun but they won’t help you to much against deer and horses flys. I found the gripping top of the sleeve got pretty uncomfortable. Hope they work better for you. Cheers!

How's she goin'? I know the deer flies can bite through a shirt so I kind if thought these sleeves wouldn't hold them up for very long!! But so far I like them. The top grip band doesn't seem to be too uncomfortable either. It might be because my 'pythons' aren't very big! LOL Take 'er easy!!

I can see how they would help. I know my son was up to Canada years ago to go fishing,, he came back and his neck and arms were all chewed up by the black flies.

"COOL" product buddy. I could see using these while on the river. Keeps the flies at bay and not bulky at all while fishing, canoeing etc. Also providing sun protection.

@@GrampiesWorkshop I’m half Irish & half German and I tan pretty well. I spent 4 hours on Sunday in the garden staking tomatoes and didn’t burn. Well except where the hair is getting ever so thin on my head. But even there, only slightly.
