In this week's episode Grant takes us through some of the latest lures with amazing markings and features that surely no fish can refuse....Then its straight into the Random section where Graeme takes us around a long wheelbase Classic old Landrover recovery vehicle. It has been renovated to to an immaculate standard by its owner. Then,get your boots on as you join Graeme and Mike up in Mike's woodland for something of a Bushcraft Sea Bream cookup on an open wood fire,together with Saute' potatoes ,Parsley Sauce and Mulled Wine...Dessert are wild roasted mushrooms. Plus its all cooked on a unique curved fireplace with a clay chimney,built by GP using vintage bricks...You think we are joking ??...check the film to find out .....

Personally I absolutely love this mash up series your doing Graham (aka legend) do totally understand you have to slow down unfortunately!! Hopefully you have so fishing from your legendary boat as well!!! Do miss it. What ever the case can't thank you enough for everything you do 🤛🏻🎣

i love tackle box clips!!! i use a lil super glue to keep the rubber lures on the hook without the rubber lure bending and making it swim funny or bunching up at the hook bend... when that lure slips during a fight the fish can use the bunched up worm or shad lure as leverage to pop the hook out on a jump! i have shown that in some of my vids - but the lil spikes on the hooks are great as well.. - also to add to the color choice thing: i use white - 100% white as it looks like a belly where the fish is most vulnerable - so a predator sees a belly from any angle and even from above ... and it seems the fish dont want the pigmentless creatures in their zone... i use (not that they do anything for me, but catch me fish) zoom "trick worms" all white with a wide gap worm hook 7/0 is good... i use them weighted or just a hook and for fresh or salt! happy day to u Capt Greame, Grant and everyone else out here.. tight lines!

It does seem a bit weird,but the Swedish Fire torch works on the same principle,light at the top and it burns down.I'm used to the old "teepee" style,small at the bottom,build upwards.

12:48 - Supposedly there is a theory behind using big/bigger rubber lures when the water at the places youre fishing look like chocolate milk. Bigger lures cast a bigger shadow and silhouette while the body and big paddle tail move a lot of water as you retrieve it. Its also more of an enticing meal if Mr Pike sees it. Otherwise for chocolate milk situations, I would normally use spinner baits or a crank/jerk bait with a load of ball bearings in it for some noise.

Been spinning for over 50 yrs and the one spinner that catches more perch pike for me and ive had hundreds if not thousands ,,on them is the original Shakespeare big s ,,the one with the rattle in it ,,,😊

I still have some and they are reliable.Plus you can crawl them slowly on the surface or pull them deeper for more action. A classic fish catching lure.

Savage gear are very good for soft lures. Just double check your hook hangers and attachments on the hard lures as there are reports of them splitting and cracking.

just yesterday I got hooks cought in my jacket... had to wait until home to remove them.. had to break . The lure with two sets of three hooks .. Not the best for working in darkness ... So you need to use barbless hooks on them in some rivers?

more real looking the lure is ..the best chance you have..Fish are not stupid ,, I keep fiding this out the hard way ...I have problems with snags ,, reading my envorment of river ..some fresh water rivers here in the North East... some river are really bad..Shopping trollys are bad for any form of fishing. Tees nightmare for snags .

It's my misfortune to disagree with you. In my experience realism has almost nothing to do with a lure's catching ability. It's about movement, whether a lure behaves as if its sick, injured and disoriented prey, or whether it behaves in an aggressive fashion triggering a pike's territorial instincts. I have printed lures that look like the real thing, and lures that look like something off a Christmas tree, and much else besides. Ones with no movement except the one imparted by the rod tip, plugs that swing madly, lures that sink like a stone and float on top. On their day, they'll all catch fish.

There are way more anglers caught by these lures than there are fish. What may look great to us and nice to have in our tackle boxes most just don't work as well as they look. So throw your money away on these lures if you like but don't expect miracles from them at best you will just get a pretty tackle box.

Pretty much the same as my fly box,hundreds of fly patterns and I ended using 3 or 4...
