Ce qui s'est passe est que le fait d'avoir appris le francais m'avais donne l'envie d'apprendre une autre langue (l'espagnole) et maintenant mon niveau d'espagnole et bcp plus advance que le francais 🤦

En fait, on ne dit pas "ça étant dit". Dans ce cas, on utilise plutôt la "forme pleine" de ça, cela. Cela étant dit... ;-)

Ça me fait plaisir de l'apprendre, Heidi :) Pour être totalement grammaticalement correcte, tu dirais : « Cette vidéo me plaît. Elle me plaît. ». Mais je sais que tu pratiques l'utilisation de « Ça me plaît », et c'est très bien.

Fascinating! I suppose it depends on your social circle and your personal preferences. I don't have the same feeling about "it sucks" in English. For me, it's perfectly fine to use with anyone you're vaguely informal with, and doesn't have a rude connotation. I think it is the same register in French, yes. Use your best judgement. :)

_Ça craint_ is not rude, but it's colloquial. So, you should use it in an informal setting.
