How do you film a basketball game using autofocus ? Tried doing it with the Canon R3 and AF was all over the place . Even putting sensitivity to lowest level. I know you use Sony , but I also have the Sony Fx30 and A7s3
Can’t speak to the autofocus on the R3 as a Sony user, and autofocus does also depend on the lens that you’re using along with your camera, but most modern autofocus systems are just good enough to keep up with most action today. I’ll half press the shutter sometimes when I want to focus hold and use touch tracking af on someone’s eye when appropriate, and some of my lenses have the option to manual focus override, all of which helps as well when shooting af.
Hi@@petersarellas I started to record my teams soccer matches and will prob buy a Sony ZV E-10, would you recommend the Tamron 70-180mm 2.8f G2 or the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS (SEL70200GM) lense, regarding the recording quality (+ maintaining autofocus while zooming in and out) etc. I would love to hear your thoughts :)
