You both really need to shoot a pilot for an HGTV show: Living in Jackson, Mississippi. Not only would this continue to put Mississippi on the map, but it would also highlight the incredible energy that people don't get to view about Mississippi.

It’s kinda funny but sometimes you actually do see that on the more entry level homes. The reason for that is, those cabinets are often pre-fabricated and just installed. These pre fab cabinets will often be soft close. The cabinets in these houses and most mid level and up homes here, are custom built on site. Those custom builders, for whatever reason, don’t often choose to do soft close.
Great houses. Garage on house 2 with work shop is killer. House 3 garage would be great as well. Also, not crazy about sinks in islands. Just doesn’t seem functional. I worry about the floor in the bathrooms being slippery. For us old folks, that’s a big concern…Thanks for all you both do,!!!!Also. The bath tub in the shower is fantastic.

I’m ok with it with the bigger island, but I don’t like it when they put the sink in a small island like you sometimes see in the more entry level new construction. Thank you for watching every week! Those houses are in a good location.. someday madison gluckstad and Canton will be all one..lol. I remember when there was one store on County Line Road. Those homes have good access to going to Kroger in Madison via Yandel and US51. The shopping center at Yandel Rd US51 was once nothing.. Technically those Yandel homes are in the County. Ie Madison. I agree, great location. And yes, development is quickly moving in that direction. Gluckstadt rd didn’t have anything on it when I moved her just 10 years ago. Now it’s got all kids of stuff and more being built!
Honestly everything feels overpriced these days but we are still one of the most affordable metro areas. It would be difficult to get what these houses offer for any less, without substantially changing the location or reducing the quality of the build. What would you think these houses should cost?
