I sold my nismo Z to move to Japan, but Ant your videos gave me lots of inspiration when I had mine. I definitely want to get back into one when I’m in Japan
Loving the mods. Saw you at Exclusive JDM Full Scale on Sunday (mine was the white Nismo outside). Definitely gives me inspiration to mod mine further. The suspension setup is definitely on my list.
I got to sit in this amazing car at Petrolheadonism and its just as impressive in the flesh. Amazing video guys! I think I need to get one of those carbon 360 poles and suction mounts.
Love this OEM+ modding style. Nice coincidence is that I've also fallen back in love with my '11 370Z. My mods are basically Z1 cold air intake, Motordyne catback, TE37SL wheels and BC Racing coils. Performance-wise she's a lot slower than my Tesla Model 3 Performance but it's a nice alternative to the silent and "digital" EV. Hopefully one day I could fit a supercharger for some extra power but nice car as is.
Wow... if I saw this on the road, I wouldn't even have a double look. Nicely done but so many have done so much that its so difficult to be outstanding.
Thanks! Yeah, that's the idea. I wanted a clean, OEM+ look. Sure, it's not a click-baitey shock-factor head-turner with a wild attention seeking wrap, big wing, rep rims and air-ride... it's just a classy (I think so anyway), evolution that those in the know will see is different and have to look twice to see why... But, she still pulls in the looks from other cars and pedestrians who stop and nod their heads in appreciation... In a way, by not standing out, it's standing out 😁
@@sportzntouringMost people like a Pearl white 370z Nismo i get the head nod and people stopping and asking abt the car and ive only had the gloss black roof wrap and short tails fitted at mo 😊
Thank you! I have looked at those wheels and like them but don't feel they've got the look I want for this car. I was thinking Rays GO25s... But colour changed to maybe a medium bronze.
Awesome! Hope you like them once they're on! Keep in touch via @sportzntouring on Instagram. For more inspiration also check out this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Eyyk8XGAkSc.html
How are those Contact Sport 7 feel on the road? I am on original factory fitted Dunlops for the Nismo, so doing some research. Personally I cannot complain about the Dunlops, unlike the earlier Bridgestones if I recall, which these cars came with prior to 2017-2018 Thanks.
I went from the Bridgstones on my previous 370Z (non-nismo) to the Nismo. The Dunlop's were slightly better than the bridgstones in my recollection. Felt grippier. I haven't back to back tested the Dunlop's and Conti SC7s but did back to back the Dunlop's and SC6. The 6 was better, but a little noisier... I think the SC7 is even better! My review of the 7s: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-se-lhtprdvg.htmlsi=z-nUmP0OcPmpxjKc But, don't just take my word for it... At the time I ordered it, it was possible to order it with the red stripe painted on from Fly1 Motorsport in the USA. It was only available in the UK with DIY Vinyl strips. I've heard since that it's only possible to order it from that UK company which was the one only offering the Vinyl strips. I'm not sure what the situation is like now.
I've not looked recently, but the painted stripe wasn't available via the UK reseller at the time I bought mine (years ago, as mentioned in the video). That may have changed.
Keep it classy love my 350z 2007 getting 370 next really nothing you have to do to these car they are beautiful as they are but sime people over do it in mods uncessary to me waste of money but everyone is different
I think the V2 Nismo is the best looking of them all. I've tried to keep it to just simple changes that enhance it rather than over do it. But it doesn't really need any changes.
@@sportzntouring I had the same Ecutek mapping done by Mark, and use my car as a daily. I find maps 2 & 3 a little harsh for slow traffic commuting, so I've stuck with 1. Also, I find I can cruise at 30mph in 6th in map 1, but not in 2 & 3.
Maybe your setup is different. For me, maps 1-3 are the same throttle map & tune. Map 1 has stock traction control. Map 2 has Abbey traction control when stock traction is turned off. Map 3 is like Map 2 but with a spicier exhaust 😉
