When you paint it it all gray. Only after firing the beautiful colors come out. They show this at the Meissen porcelain factory.

£8,000 in 1991 was about 1/10 the cost of a three bedroom terraced house in southeast London, I know this because my sister bought one and that's what it cost. That same house now goes for half a million.

I first saw antiques roadshow many many years ago in England before there was an American version. I was always impressed by the people’s composure after being told that the item they bought was worth a lot of money. Very British!!

I was unaware any from this period were so colorful. All my 18th century pottery is blue on white though most of that is Staffordshire. My most valuable piece though is only about $500 US and that's a Spode Tureen.

During covid lockdowns I lost my job and was evicted with all of my antiques being stolen. The landlord tenant board takes years for justice with a backlog of covid times. All of my possessions are long gone.

Man that would break my heart n mind knowing theses baddies were worth 21k you thinking hold them longer worth more, hell no, got to no when to sell n buy, just like stock N market. Gold seems be best investment so far . But maybe even that has end I'm sure. I can see water becoming our most expensive mineral investment, what ever you call it..but I can see that shit coming In time. Our water gonna be alot precious than any gold silver or mineral I think, it's our life need it for everything growing food to growing us to grow everything, I think..
