There are a bunch of hidden mechanics in NBA 2K23 that 2K didn't really tell you about, some of them are from past 2Ks, but some of them are new! These might change the way you play NBA 2K23, as some of these moves are really powerful!
Man it blows my mind the amount of work they put in that is just never touched by probably 90% of the player base. I’ve been playing 2K since childhood and man it’s so awesome to see the amount of moves that can happen that isn’t about making a player look glitchy
EVERYTHING works in the REC btw the court is not too small just read your defender. Learn the diff hop jumpers and don’t be afraid to shoot them. Best space creating shots
I think if you called left/right stick different names it would make it a lot easier to follow. Move left stick down right and right stick up left after double tapping right stick left two times got my brain all twisted up
Such a great mind! Definitely the urban Picasso of the 20th century when it comes to 2K. Great knowledge and great communicator for the community. Keep up the great work. Greatly appreciate the hours/dedication made!!!!
That escape jumper is nasty. I also love doing the step back out of the moving crossover. Works well against human opponents in rec quite often. I need to get better at cancelling certain animations and doing the left/right hops out of the size up escape more often. I think I've trained myself to time my combos too late because I usually want to finish them.
Love your videos man, I wish 2K would make this information more wide spread. Not even the professional players do these moves, which is who I feel like SHOULD be using them. Idk why they go to the trouble of making all these moves, and most people don't even know about them, much less use them. Keep making these videos my man!! Ur amazing!
Also Taytum has an exclusive animation. If you do a mid step over from triple threat (northwest on right stick) then Straight into a shot he does a fade. Creates so much space
