I have bronchitis and hard to breath. So i used my mix for the last 4 league nights in a row. House shot of course very dry right of board 8. Right hander 60 years young. Im averaging 227 for the 4 league nights. I had bowlers on my team and other team putting myball on the lower racks. I had to make an announcement and said dont put my strike ball the mix down below on rack as its my spare ball also, lol. Im very accurate at hitting my mark. Im a stroker so i need to hit my mark with the mix. Moved 3 boards all night long, feet and mark. Very easy to control. Great video. Play the lanes with the correct ball for YOUR situation.

For rev dominant players like me, the mix is my perfect super dry lane ball. I've shot plenty of 200 games with my green and white mix.

So many years we bowled with one ball for all shots , you either learned to shoot spares with your strike ball or averaged 145 . Finally i bought another ball AND a two ball bag , i was the man. ;)

Use this in league please. The mix is my favourite ball. Once the polished cover is used up it hooks even more too.

I averaged 194 with a t zone plastic ball as my strike ball, grabbing one of these bad boys to upgrade my arsenal

just threw a 237 last night using the Jade Storm mix. 651 set. they are perfect if you just want to line up in one spot and not have to worry about oil drying up.

I still have the black and blue Polar Ice from like 2013 lmao. It's a hybrid urethane ball, rolls like one too, and strikes a bunch when the reactive balls are sent on time out. 😂

I use the black/silver colored Mix in league more often than I use my reactive balls. I have a high rev rate and play a straighter line with it. I almost bowled a 300 already with it this year. So that ball is good in my book.

They actually have cores. “Pancake core.” Don’t sleep on this ball for the standard house shot. Allows you to play right up the dirt.

Well, welcome to the late 80s early 90s technology! I think you'd have some good results in league with those--any of those. It seems the conditions are so whacked on your league night, you're using too much ball with any kind of reactive. These seem to give you a more consistent ball reaction. But, I haven't bowled in 30 years--not since the reactives first started to come out.

I used a Tropical Storm that I had drilled last year and used like for 5 frames in league for practice this week. Surprisingly, they strike a lot if you play up the 10 board LOL. Makes me rethink my entire arsenal.

I have the black marble Mix. It can certainly hook on a league house pattern. Polished urethane. I bowled 3 games last Friday with just my Ice Storm for no-tap. 211,212,229. 😀😃😄

Typically on a pancake weight block ball the CG is also the Low RG Axis. So when drilling, if wanting to create some reaction, you'd locate the CG to PAP distance like you would the pin on your other equipment. Surface also being huge to go with the little bit of flare created.

No, as long a person is high rev, he/she can make any ball hook. That's why entry level/lower hook potential bowling balls can be a better/all rounded ball than the heavy oil balls. You just need to play around with the finger and hand positions and different strike lines.

I found my mix to be not so forgiving, especially with the 10 pin. If not perfect, it will miss. For 10 pin pickups, I like to have just a little hook on the ball so I can flatten-out towards the end of the lane to pick up the 10. Is it possible to resurface the ball using a specific grit to make it hook just a bit?

I used to use the mix as my spare ball I’m lefty so I missed so many 7 pins for hooking. I once went to the orleans and I got use it for my strike ball

Just picked up the black/silver MIX from my local pro-shop yesterday. I've been bowling with a 15lb Urethane and 14lb plastic (spare) ball for YEARS. But the lanes I bowl on dont always oil the lanes if the leagues were small or didnt happen so it gets too dry for my Urethane. And i dont enjoy bowling on plastic all night, not my style (high rev). So I picked up this MIX ball with a Urethane surface, plastic-style core...I'm hoping it'll compensate for dryer lanes. I simply dont have fun Friday nights when i try to bowl and its dry...its just boring and I'm too stubborn to bowl 'straight'...its not fun and it feels uncomfortable lol. Glad I saw this...with a higher rev rate than Tang's putting on this, I'm guessing my shot will be nice..I'll prob just have to use lower speeds. I'll find out in about an hour or two when i do my usual Friday night bowling! ^_^ I bowl from the left, nice high backswing, low release through the 2nd right arrow...I always have a nice hook right into the pocket. When I'm on, its impressive, when I'm not, ppl still think I'm a pro by the style i use lol...good thing the avg Friday night bowler doesnt think a 150-180 is good if I'm having a bad night as long as it looks 'cool' XD

I have the arctic mix as spare ball. If I'm ever actually lost in league, I just square up like 6 board and start splitting the 8-9 lol. I think I could average higher on a house shot with my mix lol. I'm a lefty tho lol

I've bowled games with a tzone in the 230s before, the only problem is after your done bowling strikes with it you can see the cover is all dinged up so I wouldn't think the balls would last too long

You have to toss them in league, then interview your opponents afterward. Those have got to be ballpoint oil pens when they go down the lane even more so than urethane if they aren’t flaring 😂. Love to see how people deal with the carry down 👍🏻😂😎
