In case no one realize, Kamui's super both normal & enhance version hits for 44 hits. In Japanese 4 (shi) sounds close to death (shi ne). I guess since 4 hits aren't that impactful so they go for 44
It's also called "Shimatsuri" ("Death Festival"), which is a play on "chimatsuri" (literally "blood festival", but lexically analoguous to "bloodbath").
@@umgogo Do you know what the symbol is in the enhanced version that blares red in the background? To clarify it is a kanji that appears between the opponent and kamui.
That is not a kanji, it's a Siddha (Sanskrit) symbol. I don't know what it means, but it is the same symbol seen on Mizuki Rashoujin's orb when she performs her Weapon Breaker in Samurai Shodown 2.
Actually, "death" in Japanese is just "shi". "Shi ne" means "die", so while you've got the right idea, it's a bit more straightforward than that. In other words, the number "four" in Japanese can be pronounced *the exact same* as "death", being "shi" in both instances.
This video should have been titled "Rate the Ultras/Level 3s." The supers are much easier than the many situational Level 3s you have done (albeit it is reward if you managed to pull it off) and they actually bring out the personality of the characters much better that way. Not to mention this is a game with a much better homing system that makes the supers/ultras much different than the usual horizontal fare. And besides...Your thumbnail isn't right. Kamui is left-handed! That being said, I'm looking forward to Team Southpaw Samurai (Kamui/Yuzuriha) for BBTAG! :D

As hard as Saki's is your bias is REALLY heavy when you gave her that 1/10. Sure it wasn't the greatest but actually pulling it off just feels so badass and it doesn't look half bad either, a more fair rating would probably be 5-8/10 honestly.

Favs are definitely Lilica, Akane, Kamui, and Lisolette I could never get the timing for Fiona's and i can't button mash fast enough for Akanes (turbo button anyone?) I lovevthis game
also i think if you hit some of those while the opponents are airborne, you would appreciate the huge hitboxes on them. im surprised u got the akane one, i might try your mashing technique
For Zenia Critical Heart: In Last hits, see Edinorog bar, you can hold Button, after release in Yellow point of bar. If you press correct of All hits, you give 100% damage.
Next time you do one of these can you please include regular supers, not just lvl 3's? You missed out on a lot of good ones that showed off the characters more and even the Arcana Supers.
You took the words right out of my mouth! Combined with the fantastic homing in this game and it brings out the personality of the characters even more.
It's not an instant kill though, it just does a lot of damage. Though with the right set up, like being at low health with Sin and hitting a low health character, it potentially can ToD but I'm not entirely sure on that.
May I say how the Lieselotte girl would fit in Darkstalkers and Skullgirls? Really, that super of hers is creepy, mainly the last shot of the tombstone. It would be more creepier if they didn't show the opponent after getting attcked by whatever the heck she unleashed.
For Arcana Heart, it's definitely Heart, Saki, Weiss, Petra, Kamui, Zenia and Akane. Elsa, Maori and Lilica might get in and I'm sure Scharlachrot, Yoriko, Fiona, Lieselotte and I think Clarice will have interesting reactions to certain characters in BBTAG.
ok so this Kamui girl pulls a Vergil Judgement Cut on you, i can see that Also why the are some of these so hard if they don't actually do that much? i get that they are Lv.3's and as far as i can see they look like "Last Resort" type of tools but still, why do you need to input a lot of buttons for regular damage when other's can do the same or more with less effort?
Koe, I think you'd honestly love this game if you gave it a fair shot, and in fact, as someone with 7 years with this game, I'd be happy to teach you. (With no cost, no strings attached, I just love teaching people this game) This game is incredibly fun once you've got a grasp on its mechanics and I'd like to say it's one of the most fun games out there. If you're interested, please reach out. I would really like to teach you all about this game. I know it's been 4 years since this video though, so I'm totally cool if you don't wish to learn it. Just looking to share the love of my favorite Fighting Game.
I think Clarice turns naked during her super. If you slow it down. Zenia's super should have properly timed inputs to make it look more explosive. Liesolette's is my absolute FAVE though. One of my most fave supers in fighting games.
@@brokenwing51 you can do that with anybody. but even if you stop her Excalibur now you have to deal with her in Gold Sabre mode which is a bitch in itself. not that it matters because Ouka is the way to go anyway. 1 guage and there goes 3/4 of your life.
What I learned from this 1. Koe's a hard man to please when it comes to supers 2. He has a fear of Puppets apparently Also, dont underestimate how long some of these supers took him. 3 hours of the stream were spent just on these supers, and the Arcana supers are all just 236ABC so they took no time at all. He spent ten minutes ALONE on Fiona, and 10 minutes before that on Lilica.
@@joonlv3197 For Fiona? The first input's fine but theres 2 follow-up inputs. The next input just makes her jump, which is easy, but then the last input requires INSANELY specific timing. I believe the chat kept mentioned it was only *two frames* in order to land the max damage. if you miss that, you get 1000 damage (which is barely anything if you noticed), or worse, you get nothing at all. Thats why it took him so long to do it. Even in training mode, you have to find the spot that lands it. He also spent some time on Nazuna and Elsa for somewhat similar reasons (the former required more rhythm, and the latter requires putting in the input before the bullet drops)
That's because these are Ultras/Level 3s. These are some of the most situational Ultras in the game, especially compared to the Supers, which are much easier in comparison.
