Every single episode of Wealthion is worth watching. It is just packed with so much valuable information! I never miss it and I send thanks to Adam :) for the content.
Bravo Adam and Doomberg, the reckoning is now underway, social and financial confidence is leaving the room. Political shortcomings will be clear for all to see. The unraveling is what follows, we will have to fend for ourselves. Keep it coming Adam, thanks.
The Tonga volcano injected large amounts of H2O vapor into the Stratosphere which is normally very dry. I think Water vapor at those altitudes contributes more to warming than the establishment experts are willing to admit. I think this natural event contributed to the hot summer of 2022 and the mild winter in many places so far.
I am not sure why you think that. Can you provide supporting evidence. I am interested in the science behind your claim. The process you are describing should result in an evaporative physical change which results in a cooling effect not a warming effect. Rest easy.
@@jeffreymcmillan7703 water is a bent, polar molecule. CO2 is a linear, nonpolar molecule. Why is that important? Polar molecules have a much stronger infrared absorption than non-polar ones. True, if a water aerosol gets into air, the evaporation of that aerosol from a liquid to gas form will immediately cool some air, however, the water vapor at high stratospheric altitudes is in a good position to absorb IR radiation from the atmospheric layers below and from the surface and prevent that energy from escaping out into space. That is why water vapor high into the stratosphere is a particularly effective greenhouse gas. Also, the article above indicates that the water vapor injected by the volcano will remain in the stratosphere for years.
Adam...have been watching your channel for a couple of weeks now...as a new investor...previous Meet Kevin where I learnt absolutely nothing...am now addicted....only site where I feel that you guys are not scamming people...thanks from the U.K.
A problem with one of Doomberg's point on a democratic leader of Russia is that it is Putin. Even polling firms who don't like him put him far ahead. If you look at the more competitive opposition parties both on the right and left are mostly more hawkish than Putin.
Great topic, great guest, great interview, & great video once again Adam! Keep these unusual guests coming & info on topics that few others cover. Did I mention it was great? Happy successful New Year!!
In 2022, Russia and India already traded oil in rupee-ruble for 25B. After QE and printing 2T during covid, what do you expect world to do? US cant print dollars and export inflation to rest of the world.
Not just Heat Pumps, but {Inverter Heat Pumps}. If you can get your hands on a "Hyper Heat" Inverter Heat-Pump, even better! This is EXACTLY what I've been telling my customers.. Great work guys! Doomberg knows what he's talking about.
Indeepth, thanks so much! So if we r going to have a bad game, the bottom line is to educate us, educate the public and the politicains and try not to rip us off in energy spaces
All forms of energy should be used according to need. One back the other etc. Let this shift happen gradually and weather be whatever it's going to be. Some things have gotten worst some better and the rest just shifted its pros and cons around...lots of problems to work out. We rush this and it blows up in our faces... sometimes literally. Its more than an opportunity to signal our virtues and greatness as humans.
Very rational and thoughtful interview. I favor green energy and would absolutely love if it could supply all our energy needs but it can't right now and probably not in my lifetime. But energy is critical to our survival. Full stop. All energy by it's nature is dangerous in its own way as it is always a force that moves something. I just don't understand why when all energy is dangerous in some way (again if it weren't dangerous it would not be energy) we demonize the currently most efficient, clean and reliable energy - nuclear - into such a bogeyman. Yes the very rare accident can tend to be catastrophic, but you could say the same about air planes yet use them with abandon.
Nether Solar or wind went offline in Europe. This was an over reliance on natural gas with only a single vendor to supply it. Add in high bidder gets preference equals a huge mess.
Important SideIssue: Why are we burning Oil and/or Coal? What about pipelining LNG thru pipelines here in US? Our new governor has kaiboshed all LNG pipelines so here in MA (Greater Boston MA) get majority of LNG thru offloading LNG ports How do we get these LNG Pipelines built?
I would _love_ to have a source for that "40% of the energy consumed in the northeast is the burning of oil" stat mentioned in the beginning. It would be a nice counter to my in-laws who consider it a "victory" that the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant was closed.
@@stuartmoore6310 Does "just google it" work as a source in your articles? (I'm not saying I don't believe it, I'd just like to know where it came from.)
So vitally important to discuss these issues that are largely ignored by MSM. As for the topic discussed today, it just goes to show you what a mess nations and assemblies of nations can be infected with, when they give precedence to the over emotional hysteria of a misguided adolescent girl. Best we cling to the logic and reason that can only come from fathers, not the least of which is our Eternal Father.
Definitely need a more practical approach towards reducing the negative impacts of modern society on our habitat. Thank you informing my evolving understanding of the forces at play.
In the UK the government have been trying to force home owners to buy heat pumps for a few years. My neighbour got one and is regreting it. To get the government grant he had to have all the radiator pipework removed so he couldn't just refit a boiler unit.
Last time I went to see my dentist he told me his electricity bill for his heat pump and house is costing him £1600 per month! When he went to show me my x-ray he'd had a website open for wind turbines 😂
That Chicken is always beats the information rich drum of the world with both drumsticks for sure... terrible I know. Thank you again Mr. Adam, a prince as always. Cheers folks, happy new year
Heat pumps have been around for over 40 years! I've had 2, and they get better with each generation. I do prefer the heat pump with the gas furnace backup, however. Likely no government bonus for that!
If Germany is a forerunner in the new energy regime then heat pumps indeed will be the next thing in California. In Germany heat pumps already get installed at scale. Just like Doomberg I doubt that switching from gas furnaces to heat pumps will solve anything, but politicians need their agendas.
Re: war in Taiwan - and just how would we force Beijing to invade Taiwan? Taiwan is no threat to China, it doesn't share a land border, it doesn't have a huge population, it doesn't have the largest army in Asia, it isn't provoking the mainland by killing large numbers of ethnic Chinese, if the US wants a war over Taiwan, it doesn't really have the leverage to provoke one, unless Beijing wants to attack over diplomatic visits or changes in diplomatic status, something it has never done in the past. Of course, Xi might just have incredibly bad judgement, but that is the only way.
As a german i don't have any problem to say that our energy policy is just dumb, i mean it is politics. I am just wondering if you two guys have any problems with saying more clear that the destruction of the pipelines was very probably not a "western power" but the USA. Just seemed like you couldn't say that somehow. It is not war war of ukraine and russia, it is a another war of USA and russia. Strategic war of USA to keep the power and also its allies (europe) low.
Our friend is outdated when it comes to solar energy and energy storage. And how the new iron flow batteries have debunk all arguments against solar and wind
👍 Well, I never thought I would seriously listen to a talking cartoon chicken, but the world has become so different from the world I've previously known. Those offered eggs are valued and much appreciated. Somebody throw that bird some corn.
Solar thermal is the cheapest and most efficient form of capturing solar energy and converting it to heat. It can technically convert 60+% into heat. And that can be multiplied by heat pumps.
A lot of talks about NordStream I, II, but not even mentioned that original infrastructure through Ukraine and Belarus/Poland is still functional and have enough capacity to supply EU. NS were constructed to punish Baltic states and Ukraine, and ofc. to make money for friend's club. Never mind SouthStream through Turkey.
I have a heat pump and its brilliant for Danish weather conditions! (and no, most refrigerants are not poisonous and the oxon story is even weaker than the CO2 narrative)
Doomberg does very interesting interviews. He seems relatively balanced and not someone who gets stuck all in on one direction, that seems very rare. He always provides background leading to his conclusions including bringing up information that is past and may have been forgotten just to make sure folks understand the point of view, i absolutely enjoy watching him and listening to what he has to say. I don't agree with everything but i can appreciate the thought process and how he arrives at his conclusions.
Who is Doomberg? The interview starts as if we're supposed to know who this cartoon character is. I've heard of Goofy, Spiderman, Santa Claus, Sponge Bob, and the Teletubbies. I haven't heard of Doomberg. I know how to use Wikipedia, but there are no results. How did Doomberg become a well-known pundit?
Germany did NOT decommission its nuclear reactors. The had placed them on care and maintenance before the war, but have now reversed this course and are in the process of ramping these stations up, if they have not already.
Unlike the rest of the interview, I think Doomberg was very off and had a very narrow and outdated view of heatpumps as a technology. The refrigerants don't have to be damaging to the ozone-layer or add to global warming, the heat pumps don't have to make an insufferable amout of noise or be less useful in the winter. The fact that he refers to them as sophisticated air conditioners really underscores how he thinks all heat pumps only can run air-to-air, whereas I think many (most?) heat pumps that run in colder climates are used in ground-to-water applications. This makes them quite capable of withstanding cold temperatures. I suspect his misconceptions might have to do with what types of heatpumps that have been generally available in the US market, which are just the types of air-to-air heat pumps he is referring to.
@@fnowacki never heard that much non sense on a topic in a long time. I live in a very cold climate (-10c is the average temperature in January here). Air to Air heat pump are very common here and they work fine. The hyper heat model can work down to -25c. You'll probably have one night or two at most where the heat pump can't handle the very cold weather. Just have a couple of electrical baseboard in case and you'll be fine. Can't take this guy seriously after this interview.
@@pouetance Well, I hear you. I was trying to be diplomatic about the air-to-air heatpumps - I've seldom heard any complaints from people I know who have them (they are often quite cheap to invest in compared to other heat pumps that are more efficient) but I've always been under the impression that air-to-air would be among the first type of heat pump to stop working during cold conditions (at least compared to those working with ground collectors), which could make him somewhat right. But if you say you can get air-air to work down to -25 C, well, I suppose they're not that prone to shutting down then, or that they simply have developed a lot in recent years. (Care to say how long you've had your unit?) In general, I agreed with most of the other things he said until his "heat pump dump". But that sure made me question what's his angle is. He seemed just a little bit to happy about gas in comparison...
@@fnowacki I've had mine since 2017. They've been available on the market here for the last 10 years I believe. When it get very cold (under -20C or -4f), I need to start the baseboards but other than that they work fine. Most of the manufacturers have an hyper heat model now. It's a bit more expensive but they work great unless you live in Alaska and they aren't loud at all. They are pretty common in eastern Canada now because the summer are getting warmer and people need air conditionning.
Doomberg: Truly a modern Diogenes seeking an honest energy analysis. Not with a lamp but a birdcage. I am still shocked by peoples visceral reaction to nuclear power. You would think they expect Hanford level waste facilities next to their house and glow in the dark bodies.
Its astonishing how even energy analysts are not familiar with the concept of Energy Return on Energy Invested (EROI), the natural decline rate of the oil fields and peak cheap oil.
The end of the dollar system begins when the dollar ceases to be the global financial intermediary, ie when Saudi Arabia agreed to accept the Yuan. As with any commodity, the impact of change for the Dollar is set at the margin, China/Russia/India don't have to replace the whole dollar system, only a marginal percentage to radically impact it.
