Thank you for your work! I'm glad that outside of Russian speaking environment someone know about these languages! Tatarlardan törek tuğannarına sälam!

I am an Uyghur, but my main languages are English, French, and Russian (I was born in Kazakhstan, raised in Canada, and reside in Antalya). Although I can understand some dialects of Uyghur, I can speak very little. I'm hoping to get a little more free time to learn Uyghur. I still have relatives who are native speakers.

Major Turkic nations (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye) should build language-villages for those vulnerable Turkic languages in their countries and make the youth of their nation learn and speak them.

Such a good idea! These languages should be preserved since they the remnants of cultural diversity and richness of Turkic languages.

On the other hand: who cares? I mean it’s sad and all, but I just don’t understand what those languages are contributing to society. It’s not like people are getting hurt or die because they don’t speak their ethnic language anymore.

Every disappearing language takes a whole human culture with it. Tales, idioms, expressions, lifestyle and the entire culture of a language should be regarded a value of humanity as a whole. That’s why anthropologists record disappearing hunter-gatherer languages. Even if we cannot prevent their extinction, we can preserve their cultural and linguistic heritage in academic fields. So even if there is no physical persecution, a disappearing language is something to care about in my opinion.

‘Qing’ is pronounced like ‘Ching’, that’s where the name of China comes from.
