Episode #50 of the UNO MAS levels showcase series!!!
For those that don't know what an UNO MAS level is, essentially it's a short level made to showcase something neat, unique, silly or glitchy in Mario Maker 2. Typically, once figured out, these levels will take under 30 seconds to beat...but those 30 seconds are usually filled with eye opening moments. Let's dive into these levels!

21:26 I think I have an idea on why Mario disappears. Yesterday, I was messing around with Custom Autoscrolling in a level I was making, at the end of the level was an upwards-pointing cannon and arrow sign past the Goal Tape (since this was part of a long series of levels for a Super World, this was meant as a "Transition" of sorts into the next level). Apparently if you hug the right of the screen so you hit the Goal Tape before the objects appear, they simply won't. I think Mario touching the goal in autoscrollers causes some things to despawn if they havent appeared on-screen yet. And in this case, Mario wasn't on screen, causing himself to despawn.

I don't think it's because of the autoscroll. *I think it's because the collision of objects isn't handled correctly when objects are off-screen.* Bascially, Mario fell through the pipe because the pipe was still off-screen when Mario fell down. The game did not have time to handle the collision with the pipe, which made Mario fall through the pipe and into the abyss! So basically, it's just the pipe that didn't spawn yet. It has nothing to do with the autoscroll or something.

@@alisiaale565 yeah, I think this is right because the player never despawns, and if they go too far off screen you will just die.

@@alisiaale565 I think it's technically still about autoscroll, because without it Mario wouldn't be off-screen to not-collide with a non-spawned pipe.

@@Speed-TV, true! And since the death music doesn't play after Mario hits the goal, he actually dies, but we can't notice this because the death music is turned off!

The claw lick glitch is really nice, you could break a lot of levels with that, creators beware of putting Yoshi's around claws and pows.

If you pause at just the right moment, you can see the spring actually turns the spiny away, then as it "flips" (aka going up the side of the block then across the one way but really fast), it faces forward again. I guess it could be both in that instance

The p block above the noteblock actually has a simple explanation: When you press jump on a noteblock you get a jump with a specific height, the p block oushes you up so you get the noteblock jump but from the p block

19:50 The unbreakable blocks (they are a completely unique blue block) aren't there in that moment because you destroyed the breakable blocks underneath them, despawning the unbreakable off screen blocks above.

Blocks where still there, you could hear him wall sliding off of it. The level used custom auto scroll to keep the screen down and they used ground blocks or something.

@@DuoFaceGaming Actually the gray breakable blocks don't spawn blue blocks above them. The only ones that do are spikes and clear pipes I think.

Idk if someone already mentioned how to take damage in the first level but I think you're supposed to duck jump and ground pound against the ceiling and it should let you take damage

flying question blocks trick = 1 pixel wall . with print there are pop out, in some games u can glitch out of the map on this poits because many designer make the world 2D ... and dont fill this out. this make some very funny moments in online games :D

2:47 Putting that saw there was probably a bad design choice, because it got you hung up on trying to take damage to fit in the hole, when I think you're actually supposed to do a trick to fit through while big.

No; if you crouch + jump, then ground pound you can hit the saw...but only while big.

@@AdrianCosman perhaps in this case, but I've definitely seen an uno mas setup before, where the trick involved wall jumping through a 1-block gap like this, so I thought that was what this was

9:25 - I kinda think what's more weird than the actual uno mas, is the fact that Dave is being bounced up by the end goal hitting him thru the block, and yet somehow, that does NOT count as hitting the end goal.....

For the first level, you were supposed to crouch + jump, then ground pound near the height of the jump and it would clip you through the ceiling and you'd hit the saw, shrink, then fall back out.

17:50 = teleporthack ... th hitbox of the luncher is not ON THE LAUNCHER... this spring take a 1 sec hitbox to your spot there u stand, thats all . move away from this point for 1 sec if th spring will respawn. and u dont die. i think the hitbox is 2 corners big / like a launcher^^

That builder Mario uno mad level seems more like a rendering issue with that power up. When you don’t jump it knows that you took out the hammer but doesn’t allow it to work. When you jump and try to use the hammer it knows there is an input but doesn’t allow anything to happen because it doesn’t render anything. That’s my theory.

Oh! I I think I know how that shell thing works! Don’t you remember the RNG kinda thing with “springs" and shells that come out of a block? If a POW is above it it gets booped one way and if the POW is under it it goes the other way So I think one of them boops the shell against the wall and the other one boops it straight the other way. And one way makes it faster……But I’m not sure which does which…

first level: Duckjump and unduck when mario's head reaches the saw. (you can also loose a shellmet that way if the saw is above you) ... you can thank me later Kappa

It stands for Dan Good Repairs. The channel started out as an instructional channel for repairing consoles (mostly Nintendo). Dan was the original creator but he is not around anymore.
