@theartsyzoologist
@theartsyzoologist 4 года назад
I absolutely admire the smallest details here, from a human perspective of course. Zuri ever so calmly trying to coerce her cubs to stay with their grandmother, as any rushed movements could over excite her cubs into chasing and most likely following her, or even worse, startling the other cubs into panic mode sending them off in different directions as they desperately try to maneuver themselves off the rocky out ledge. A lot of people would assume "Oh mum or aunty could easily go pick them up and whisk them to safety" which of course they could. However, what we humans see as a basic solution to this dilemma, Lions would carry out with a great attention to detail and a tactful thought process, which as we see in their skillful hunting strategies is not a foreign concept to these intelligent big cats. What a wonderful ending to a potentially devastating story!.

@rhyfelwrDuw
@rhyfelwrDuw 4 года назад
My heart was in my mouth! When the cameraman said they weren't allowed to help I was like - "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" stuff being allowed or not - these cubs are in danger!! I can understand they they can't interfere with nature, but it would be terribly tempting to do so - especially where the baby lions are concerned! I guess one problem would be if the mother lion smelled humans on their cubs, they may attack them? (I don't know for sure)!

@Fadedecho1
@Fadedecho1 4 года назад
@@Splashstar216 hello there. Wild animals were given a home of sorts on the planet from the start. That is their environment. And also the life they live. They survive and perish in the way it was chosen for them. That was the plan. Till humans interfered. So this scenario happens in the animal world. Brutal or not. And I believe a wild animal should be exactly where it belongs in the wild environments. Nor caged. Nor hunted. Nor poached. But each has own opinions so we must respect that. God bless

@@Splashstar216 if you have the ability and finances to care for them and it does not become a problematic thing to care for there needs then I can't say not too. @kevin anith When Australia fought the Japanese in Singapore. They could have destroyed the Japanese army, except for a broken phoneline. In the battle for Singapore itself despite having the hardest sector to defend the Australian forces continually pushed back all Japanese advances and inflicted such heavy casualties on the Japanese forces they were days away from giving up. It wasn't until the British and Indian forces surrended that the Australians were also forced to surrender. In PNG, with Australia's regular army fighting in Africa. Australia was forced to send national service men. Basically factory/office workers, farmers, laborers, etc with only a few weeks training to PNG to stop a full invasion force of seasoned Japanese troops. The national service men were nicked named "choco's" short for Chocolate soldiers because it was thought they would melt away in the heat of battle. What resulted was months of battle that ended in the Japanese first defeat of WW2.
