i have a feeling the hippo was already dead. Crocs do not attack hippos naturally... and in fact hippos are even more dangerous than crocs. Up to 500 people a year in africa are killed by hippos. They have huge fangs and sharp teeth as well you will find more videos of hippos attacking crocs than otherwise

Usually hippos don't have to worry about crocodiles.

Sometimes hippos will even show signs of cannibalism, they'll go over to croc's eating a carcass of a fellow hippo and lick the skined parts for the salt. I haven't seen this happen often though. That hippo probably died of natural causes, not the croc's anyway.

No croc is threatening them they are threatened by the probability of presence of croc you easily can detect tension from Lion's act.

@@spectralaves It's not debatable. They use a tool that measures PSI "pressure per square inch" to determine this and they have 3,700 whereas a hippo has 1825 psi. Hippo has the strongest psi for a mammal.

Lions stand a far better chance surviving a croc attack as many videos have shown , for obvious reasons . But , hoofers are as good as crocs' meal before they even get halfway .

I think quantity and size play a big part in your point. I can’t remember seeing a leopard hunt giant crocodiles in waters infested with crocodiles, it’s usually one crocodile by itself, with manageable size, nothing noteworthy.

leopards hunt small camians.....these are much larger much more aggressive nile crocodiles big difference

another thing your confusing leopards with jaguars in south america because leopards most certainly don't hunt nile crocodiles there even smaller then lions
