He was always an ass. He was known toxic and also imo him playing like shit on tl and leaving to tsm suddenly right after he started dating leena is super sketchy
When I saw that Dom somehow made a 20 minute video of him reacting to a 3 minute video, of someone reacting to a picture, I laughed my ass off. I honestly respect it!
Dom’s a fucking real one for this. Guy doesnt always agree with Caedrel’s takes especially when it comes to TheShy but shows him the respect for all the work he put into analysing the game.
Caedrel hyped about The Shy Return ( Those who watched last year finals know how the shy actually invented the lane swap strat when he ran down bot lane just to capitalise on himself inting xD) just shows how BLG is soon going to be the 2nd best team in the lpl even after having the best roster and we will see tarzan and theshy running it the FOOK down side by side omE
Blg is only dropping the 1st place if Knight joins a different team and makes them LPL champions. Also this is the only chance theshy ever has of smelling another LPL title if he gets placed on a team with knight. He is way weaker than Bin first of second he is washed, has some good plays but is very VERY inconsistent.
@@endefisto123 Brother this is clearly a joke. But if you want to have a serious discussion, if Bin is that much better than The Shy what happened at worlds last year? I mean I happen to agree that Bin is generally speaking the better player, but it isn't as obvious of a call as your making it out to be. Also good plays but inconsistent is the exact way most people describe Bin and Zeus as well, it's almost like that's what every carry top lane player is. They play a high risk style, and sometimes they get punished for that. This is why many people think 369 is the best top in the world over these players, he is incredibly consistent.
@@calebgardner2687 Ok I will give you that for last years worlds. Now I do agree with the 369 concept he is more consistent then Bin and Zeus, but from watching the LPL Bin has much higher highs so to say. The discussion about best toplaner is a hard one as there are quite a few names that can be thrown in that hat, but I don't believe theshy is in that conversation, not anymore anyway. Also I had a few beers when I wrote the first reply. In all fairness to theshy though a toplaner is good when he is put in a weaker team (like theshy last year) and is still able to carry, because even if Bin right now may be somewhat inconsistent with carries like Knight (best midlaner in the LPL) and Elk it can go unpunished, however, eIther way it is very hard to decide who the best toplaner is in the LPL, but I simply lean towards Bin in the current state. We will see at MSI I guess.
@@endefisto123 honestly a pretty fair take, and yeah I do think Bin is incredible, but I do personally think 369 is the best top looking at it from the viewpoint of if I was making a team what top would I most want on my team. He can do everything and will never be a weakness for your team, which is something that is incredibly impressive. Unfortunately Knight and Elk are too good so it didn't matter in LPL finals.
Honestly in the current state of the LPL i feel that BLG is completely outclassing every other team the closest we got was a 3-2 by TE that too after lot of desperation its incredible how a change in coaching staff and 1 player kinda flipped the whole team so i dont think even if Theshy gets peak performance and even if i agree tarzan is on the grind i think they will simply be outclassed everywhere else as in i feel Xun and knight and elk are ridiculously good ... and while i think Bin is amazing i 100% agree with you on saying 369 is the best top ig im a bit biased in the sense that i have not seen a more character development arc as with 369 last yr it was only tank duty for him and he could (dont take it too harsh ) be said as one of the "weaknesses"of JDG but this yr he is completely smurfing and has quite a versatile champ pool if i must say so..
The smartest move from this was definitely Caedrel essentially saying "nah you dont matter cuh", denying DL of what he wanted, which is to farm drama and start beef to draw attention. 2nd smartest move was Dom for discombobulating DL with good arguments, which helped Caedrel stay away from the drama because someone else already addressed it. 3rd place winner was us for watching all this happen xdd. DL doesnt even get a participatory prize
so hard to like doublelift sometimes lmao i like the dude, idk, ive always resonated with him ever since back when but yeah he seems to be really into content nowadays i just dont even think he actually thinks how disrespectful he's being with the like "caedrel's high to say this", but he's blinded by the content.. streamer life i guess
you just have to enjoy both of them, caedrel and dom put so much effort on their content. So many ppl don't like IWD because he's just real about what he think. As a former viewer of both of them i just think they sometimes have different opinions or preferences but they love what they do and give their all to produce content
Tbh I dont judge anyone for not liking dom as a person. Thats just so subjective. But Dom's expertise in terms of actual lol esports is almost unmatched. Caedrel probalby can rival him in that regard. You can make arguments for people for Nymera and stuff, but its simply not as obvious. Like this guy does so much work in terms of building a great analysing perspective.
So true, if i watch LPL co-streams it's will abways be Dom, you can say that he is a hater or something like that, but he always stands on his takes and they are all based on his long ass experience. Also i think casual lol viewers and Caedrel fans or fanatics should i say, just don't want to understand that Dom boosted Caedrel co-stream career and streams in general so fucking hard
People just don't like how blunt he is. Caedre is kinda tame but Dom is relentless they're like the Yin Yang of co streaming. Also most of his haters are probably the "T1 fans" who hates him without knowing why he likes to hate on T1. Caedrel fanbase consists of 4 kinds 1. OG caedrel fans/Dom enjoyers 2. LCK frogs "former LS viewers" 3. The psychotic T1 fans 4. And the new fans that got into pro scene recently.
But I don't get that logic. A lot of his opinion clash with people having more experience than him. Double lift has been a pro longer than him with higher peek. All the lpl players he flamed at better players and yet his draft opinions are more relevant apparantly. Like don't get me wrong you are free to agree with him but it is weird to use expierende as a factor for how right he is when he is arguing with people with the same experience or more@@user-bi2ok6ne9y
I don't like Dom or MonteCristo very much, but I love to watch their vod reviews. Like as much as everyone hates Monte, he's right up there with Caedrel in terms of actual game analysis.
@@justsomeguythatwantssometh9986 Can anyone explain to me why he shits on T1 so much? I’m in that group 4, just got into the game/pro scene through caedrel. I just never understood through clips and tweets why this Dom guy hates on T1 whenever possible. Is it just a clickbait persona he keeps on playing? Or does he genuinely have a vendetta against the org 😂
Whats crazy is that even as a casual fan that just watches caedrels vids when i heard double lifts comments it was so obvious he had no idea what he was talking abt. Peyz is getting gapped all year wtf
Anyone who once thought Peyz was the next Ruler (including Caedrel himself) has clearly never played ADC and only looks at stats. Peyzs position of getting fed by the team and getting insane peel while also not being the SOLE carry because everyone else will focus Chovy instead of you. Is an absolute DREAM scenario for any ADC main. You arent pressured, your team feeds you, and all you have to do is carry teamfights. This is why he gets exposed at internationals when all of GenG is weak and the pressure is spread throughout all of GenG. Funny is when Caedrel played ADC and had his "ADC is trash" rant, which was fully accurate for the time btw, that was when he started realizing Peyzs weakness and stopped glazing him and calling him the next Ruler
i mean T1 already did it last year when they beat BLG and JDG real hard, when World 23 start no one ever think T1 will have any chance to win World or even defeat BLG or JDG with 3 2 but no it's 3 0 and 3 1 . . . . crazzy
Dom already said he doesnt gaf about if u were right, he cares about the reasoning u give for ur prediction. Doesnt fucking matter if u correctly predict sth if ur reasoning is baseless as "just a hunch". Same thing if u predict BLG to win and ur reasoning is "cuz they beat Gen G and T1 last year MSI" then ure just bullshiting
@@chiangmei1265And why do you think people thought T1 will have no chance against BLG or JDG in worlds last year? Do you need me to explain or what? Or you watch worlds only like a seasonal plebs? You realize that people predicting JDG or BLG to win T1 is based on actual match history and recent situations before the world games happened right? Yeah Mr Captain hindsight it looks like a joke now that T1 won worlds against them. You wanna talk about LCK summer and MSI 2023 yet? Then how about we rewind another year back to 2022 Worlds , where DRX won T1 in finals. Do everyone really felt that DRX is truly better than T1 just because they won 1 series? Like you T1 fans are so dumb and dense to realize that the format is trash and its always a bunch of coinflips. You can be the very best and lost no series , 0 series lost the entire year from start to finish and then play a bad series to lose 3 games and now people say you're worse than the other team or you're "overrated". Fuck off lmao.
I feel like what Caedrel's taking offense to is something that he does to everyone on a daily basis. Bro can't go 5 minutes without saying "what is he smoking" but when DL did it all the sudden it's disrespectful just feels strange. Idk the history between them all but seems like there's more behind the scenes than just this one interaction. Regardless much love to Caedrel and DL
Just watch the shitshow homie. Most of these guys are all toxic af but will have their fans defend them to death for instance the fact that they're saying dom isnt toxic is actually delusional man made a actual series called "stfu hashinshin" because he didnt like hashinshin and we all know DL talks shit about damn near every pro player (edit it wasnt called stfu hashinshin it was a top to masters challenge to say he can outrank hash idk if he actually hit masters but he has like a little bit more lp than hash for like 1 hour before hash outranked him but by then the vid was out and fans didnt care)
Wdym? He was playing pretty mid, even when they swap Mark for Hang he was still pretty mid compared to other splits. Scout was also running it down and Weiwei/Zika were average. No one in LNG was actually stepping up, having TheShy may give another game style that can work a little bit better
@@jdmd3247they will just be the middest mid after Theshy joins , nothing will change lol. Its like having the old 2019 G2 bois without caps and mikyx joining heretics and expects smth out of it. Nothing is going to happen LOL.
Zika isn’t that great either compared to TheShy, also I don’t think LNG as a whole will reach world top spot anyway. At least if TheShy joins LNG then it’s will become more fun to watch for sure
Noo, I'm bad. I enjoyed this. :D I remember when Doublelift defended the 9-man-sleep moment. That sounded like "You know, we in NA are scared of losing so we don't try to win."
Tbf, Caedrel said the thing with Zeus running it down and GenG choking and Blg beating them.. so Dom said some disinformation, even tho Caedrel maybe didn’t actually mean it which I’m not sure of.. + dom was defending Caedrel list maybe even cause he would have similar list..
honestly though, watching all three reacts......if Dom ACTUALLY had your back, he would have brought it to your attention and suggested a line of communication, instead of blowing it up to the community and trying to make himself relevant in a conversation about you. Dude literally says, everyones opinions are ok......then its a clip of dlift giving his opinion and instant mockery. Be adults, communicate to each other and build, stop shitting on each other
you know what, i didnt like dom that much before whenever i watched his co-streams since he clearly shows bias towards teams that he supports, whereas caedrel is a lot more balanced on the reactions (bar some games where he was absolutely a fan of like wbg or t1 lul) but after seeing how dom ripped open DL with facts and experience made me respect him a lot. like if someone says that about my friend, while also being factually incorrect, i would also go ham on them.
Just listen what Doublelift saying here, a millions points said, zero reasoning and context to support them. And at the same time disrespect other people's work.
Nah that's underrating LS, he at least had a period of being sane. DL has always been a complete moron in and outside the game, yet at the very least I can acknowledge that he knows how to milk drama to save his dying streaming career
I still don't think what doublelift did here is that insane. The only thing I wish he didn't say was "is he high" .. that made him seem condescending. As for his point.. I think it was understandable. He's basically saying he can't fathom how Blg is in a completely different tier to Gen g and T1. Like.. he can see it if Blg was higher, but still in the same tier. But he was just shocked to see Blg having their own tier. That's what Doublelift disagreed with. And I think that's fair. Like I said his approach however.. unsatisfactory to say the least.
the only reason Dom is even involved is because Caedrel ranked a LPL team above the LCK teams lol if Dom starts appearing more on Caedrel's content tho I'm gonna have to hard pass, dude's pure drama
