FR. It's hard to be on either team really, sometimes it's hard to even watch these videos with the dumbass shit they do or forget. But how the fuck do you pronounce ruinous powers wrong more than once? It's literally just "ruin" with "ous" at the end. 'Ruin us'
Since these fights are so quick and high hitting you might want to consider doing a best 2 out of 3 just to make sure. Because both the last two episodes could have gone either way
Been a very vocal doubter. But good job rargh (still think melee was a bad choice) That was chaotic, i think the viewers would benifit from a best of 3 at the end of each video since the fights are so quick.
that would be dope. thatd be a good way to really see whos got the upper hand each episode at the end. if its a 3-0 sweep then you know like yeah what they got going is good. but if its a 2-1 then its like alright were pretty close now this is anyones game.
Yeah I thought this the second he picked melee. He knew there was a chance link would go mage. Even if link doesn't and goes melee or range, range would be a decent match up. Picking melee knowing you can be frozen though as a possibility was just not good. He's lost 3 fights. Every fight actually counts in this series. Not sure how many fights there will be but wouldn't be suprised if it's only like 8-10.
The thing is. Once they hit tier 7, Rargh can practically one shot link every time. Beserker is 80+ hits every time against full health. And well past 100 if he is low hp. Link will literally be forced to hurt himself to avoid being oneshot by any damage boosting specs. Freeze is busted, but melee dps is insane.
@@IvIiami Thanks to your reply, you reminded me to add to my original post: Use your best mage gear (mystics?) with something Zamorakian, such as a robe bottom. You don't want to get flamed by the Spiritual mages, so you can still Ice Barrage; use protect from ranged. You can very easily get one kill, restore prayer at Ardougne altar (or any other altar of your choice) and repeat. I got about 25 kills in one inventory doing this, before messing up too many times and running out of the antipoison I brought. The big takeaways: autocast Blood Barrage, as it will outheal the mage minion (you're protect from ranging, and should also freeze the melee minion; as you get more comfortable, you can do the Kree strat and cleave off of the melee minion for extra accuracy) and you only need to eat (and antipoison) if K'ril hits you.
For a non league pvp challenge you could ask players in GE what monsters to kill and kill whatever they tell you for some time for drops and then move onto asking for another monster.
My relic says it CANNOT SPALSH on targets that can be frozen so gear means nothing but I do splash my freezes? So obviously something is wrong with the wording of the relic or its not working as intended.
@@LinksOcarina It’s definitely possible that they copy pasted it from last leagues where there was a requirement for 100% freeze chance. Also the freeze was not 100% vs players which was also explained then. This time however nothing of that is said but could still definitely be true. “With +60 Magic Attack Accuracy (or +20 with regular Void Knight equipment Mage Armour or Elite Void Knight equipment Mage Armour) your binding spells and ice spells have 100% accuracy against creatures. Otherwise, magic attacks have 125% increased accuracy against NPCs (50% against players).”
Strange link never seemed to consider unlocking Kand considering it is 15% damage bonus for magic. I know he is thinking about the fight but he is struggling to kill kril with 98 magic and his best possible spell. All whilst saying things like when I do the raids.
I was thinking the same thing. Occult is better than full ancestral. Link probably the only mage user not to go Kandarin, it's basically a must pick, the 15% is too much.
@@chrisgibbs804 Kand isn't as much of a must-pick as you're making it out to be. Other regions have magic% gear available so it's not like you're losing the full 15% by choosing a different region, it's more like a 10-13% difference depending on alt region choice, not counting the potential boost of a saturated heart if you go Fremmy. Kand is such a bland region beyond zenytes/occult that you may well be better off going a different route for empowering your off-styles, or frankly just for fun.
I honestly just wanted to say thankyou for not grinding 20 hours a day and already having max combat and full BIS. Its nice being able to relate without the overwhelming fear youre 5 days behind on day 2
Rargh, it might be worth your while to make some mud runes if it isnt possible to get a rune pouch. Thats a whole extra food for the fight, it might end up making the difference. Great video, although you did mess up and add the same clip twice at 27:55. I thought my phone was bugging out at first lol.
@rargh you can tele to house and then to the crafting guild to bank and still last recall. it doesnt save teleports from when you are inside your house instance.
The thing Link seems to fail to realise is that the Accuracy Bonus from the Relic is multiplicative, not additive. So he's getting 36 x 1.75 = 63 Magic Attack vs someone with over 200 Magic Defence. Also I believe that the way Ice spells work with the Relic is that the game checks to see if you did damage, and THEN tries to apply the Freeze, as such it doesn't work with the Relic and only Entangles get perfect accuracy.
Yo pro tip for mr link at Zammy gwd. You freeze zammy and the melee minion and just farcast them. You can even freeze the mage and run south and take 0 damage praying ranged. Gwd is meant to be extremely free with mage
Spoilers . . . . . . Damn, I was wrong, Mage isn’t as unbeatable as I thought it’d be! That or that extra magic defence with Rargh’s staff and lesser magic attack from Link’s Helm is making all the difference here
Rargh, get a cbow for when he runs off and use emerald bolts to proc poison. You might not have 2 tic range but dps is a must through the fight when you cant melee steadily.

RARGH; please do anything for the dragon scim, entangles into a dragon scim spec into big melee hits off prayer is the BEST way to guarantee wins. also, being an nher, not switching the void helms was a hard thing to watch but i guess it dint matter u got the dub!! you should also practice entangles on monsters to see the exp drops you get for catching / splashing to know exactly when to switch intoo melee gear just off the exp drop
@@Rargh LMAO , thats an amazing plan but if u dont 1 tick the voidwaker spec he can always just pray magic 😂, voidwaker plan is more fun i give you that, but d scim spec is way more consistent for the KO
@@Rargh The problem is the melee relic doesn't work with the voidwaker special attack from what I've heard, it benifits from the mage relic. So you don't get the accuracy bonus, or chance to deal double when damage using it.
@@Rargh voidwaker already has 100% spec hit chance, and what danny is saying is correct, you wont benefit from the melee relic so it becomes just a normal voidwaker, legit a d long special attack would be better dps because of melee relic. You gotta go for the dragon spec att, even if its “boring” its the best best option you have bro!
If anyone is wondering why Link is splashing: The magic accuracy increase from the mage relic is a percentage (175%). If you have 1 magic accuracy, 175% of 1 is 1.75, rounded up to 2. If you have 100 magic accuracy, 175% becomes 175 magic accuracy. Low base magic accuracy = Low gain from accuracy bonus. High base magic accuracy = High gain from accuracy bonus
This, it was already seeming like it was one-sided. He brings full melee gear and purposely tanks his magic attack and then doesn't pray melee vs the guy going melee...
I think you guys have to realize we are human. There’s a lot on the line with these fights. We spend 8 hours to progress for a fight we know will last seconds. He’s prayed mage every single fight prior when I had a mage switch. He missed his freezes, forgot to switch and died. Mistakes happen & we are not robots. I didn’t even get my mage helm off when meleeing. Was I throwing too?
@@Rargh I love you guys. I have voted for you in every golden gnome and watch every vid with a lot of enjoyment. I also know what it's like to feel pressured and to put out content to a demanding public. You are human and we get that. That said, I also know that if Link wins all the fights early that it makes the whole series moot because you will not be able to win enough rounds later to make it interesting. Viewership would likely drop a bit AND it would be less entertaining to your fans. Like, it looks sus. There are lots of logical reasons for link to suddenly forget how to play the game and almost all of them have to do with throwing to make a more engaging series.

Rargh, go for sara god sword and relic that lets you do unlimited spec that always hits 100% and does at least 20% of max hit at cost of health if out if spec points.
Im not sure if Link knows or not, but he shouldn’t be focused on defense some defense is nice for sure but sacrificing magic accuracy isn’t worth it if Rargh is going to have +130 magic defense, offense is the only way to win these battles for magic.
