Huh. Interesting that they missed a few notes. They use motion tracking for the actresses that actually play the instruments on stage, so it should be 100% accurate - but my guess here is a few of the coordinates were off and the animators didn't notice the minor inconsistency. Well, I guess if you could fool me, a person who also plays piano, it probably was good enough to give the illusion, lmao.

yes motion tracking is not always 100% accurate even in normal use case instances. Motion tracking commonly undergoes further adjustments to make the movements more smooth or accurate this is what most likely happened here.

As a drummer i also found out its mostly accurate. not perfect, but it's there. I recommend this to my fellow musicians to give BanG Dream a shot. Not only does it explore different types of genres but also what's happening within the band members that we can relate to it somehow. Hanazono having a session with RAS and ended up late to their anniversary hits close to home... sad thing is our lead guitar never came back to us.

I personnally don't like this "3D like" anime-style. I think they should keep in the 2nd Dimension. The best animes are still the ones from the 90 - early 2000s Change my mind.
