"Chase me" was their debut, released on January 13th (a Friday), 2017. It must have been nerve-wrecking for the members, re-debuting with a genre that is not popular in Korea after Minx failed. (5 of them were Minx before.) But they already doubled their sales with this. And they stuck with the Rock/Metal vibe until today, now selling 50 times the albums than Minx did. This is the start of the Nightmare arc, which spans 6 MVs and 1 Japanese release. They are Nightmares here, and the Nightmare hunter is trying to dispel them - how that turns out is shown in the next one, Good Night. Good Night is one of their heavier releases, and I love it. The K-Rock girl group Rolling Quartz also did an excellent cover of it. I personally think they built the forest in a studio, it does not look completely real to me, but I could be wrong. The Nightmare hunter casts spells to trap the members, but they get the book from him and turn it against him, trapping him behind the mirror. The next song in the Nightmare arc, "Fly High", is from the album "Prequel", which is a strong hint to consider. 😉 That is also a very interesting song. You noticed the key change in Good Night. It's a switch to Major for just one bar, but it sounds very interesting!
12:38 That's SuA, usually in Dreamcatcher Dami, Gahyeon and SuA do the rap parts In Chase Me it may seem a horror concept from the viewers perspective, but in thisconcept each member is a nightmare (that's why it's called Nightmare series) from their perspective and they are just playing with the nightmare hunter. I think that's why the melody is brighter than what you'd expect from the MV.

Thanks for checking out more Dreamcatcher! They are a lot of experimentation in DC's title tracks, even if they all have rock/metal influence. As you go through their title tracks you'll see the growth and evolution of their sound. Your comment about them sounding more mature in the newer MVs is spot on though. They just released a new version of the B-side "Lullaby" that's on the album with Good Night. If you listen to the original version and the new version side by side the growth and maturity in their voices is VERY apparent. Going from the debut is the best choice! To save you some time from googling and possibly finding something wrong: 3. Fly High - this is from the "Prequel" album, so it is the prequel of the story in 1-2. 4. You and I - the story goes normal from here. 5. What 6. Piri - ending one. 7. Breaking Out - ending two, Japanese release. This concludes nightmare era, but it is only a start. Also consider to watch some DC guide, there are a plenty and they all are at least okay, helps to link faces with names.
Actually, there's a 7th title track in the Nightmare Series. The song "Breaking Out" is the alternate ending for "Piri". It's a Japanese track. So, that's a creative way to talk about alternative endings. I mean, the main plot is Korean.
Yea Good Night hits real hard and it is still one of my favorite tracks from DC. Towards the end of the song it was not a key change but unusual key progression. It is subtle but adds a nice twist to the song. There's one in Fly High as well so get ready for it.
