Bruce make it worth your while . They will give you the loader I guarantee you that I sent it before people taking abandoned piece of equipment say it's been sitting up for 10 years on you know they can piece of property the company sells to a person all sudden once you get running all the sudden the person that's normally owned it back if they want back so bad like I said you jack your price up so high to where they wouldn't want it back I guarantee you they'll leave you alone brother
@@usa_dobson8967 When the guy first contacted him he had no idea he was gonna have to pay Bruce for his costs. Lucky for Bruce, it worked out that way. Some people don't see the big picture.
No doubt, but nothing changes the fact that it wasn't the land owners to sell. Tbh, 3K is super cheap, even as a non runner. It's worth more than it in scrap and a several times that in parts. If something seems to good to be true it generally is - land owner knew the sale was shady. At least the video maker isn't going to be out of pocket, that's the main thing.
I know for a fact the owner if in "Australia" could say it mine & prove it with " a bill of sale" would get it back for free/ no payment.& you will lose the case in Court , you are Sooo lucky you are getting your money back + extra , l am happy for you 😱😱😀
Glad to hear your not going to lose a bunch of money on it . Those guys that sold it should have been able to charge him storage . The original owner is shady for pulling that .
he doesnt have to give it back. The property owner owned that loader on the 31st day it was left on his property. Look it up. Any home or business this applies to. Doesnt matter if its an SR-71 or a paper clip.
As a bunch of people pointed out already - you didn't have to give it up, previous owner's bill of sale and title mean nothing as it's covered by the abandoned property statute. He lost ownership when he left it on someone else's land for years.
Why'd the guy abandon the Iron giant for so long? Almost looks like he saw that you got it running all the rehab you did and decided he suddenly needed it back.
The grandson of the owner saw and told his grand father that was when the will it start video was made and Bruce was contacted because he made a video saying it and bill of sales don’t mean any thing if the owner has the original MSO Bruce was hoping that the owner would not care about the loader
Let us get one thing straight. I last used the loader there moving full grown oak trees in July of 2018 . If you dont believe me check with Best Western at the next exit south. I contacted you May 2nd and told you I wanted my loader back before you did all the work on it and made videos with it. You told me you did not want to give it back and ask me how much I would sell it for the reply was did not want to sell it. You ask if I did what would I want , the reply was 25,000.00 you said was not worth it. Mean time I had to dig through boxes of papers to find the bill of sale for it. The whole time you were making money with it.The machine was never abandoned it was parked there with the actual Supervisor knowing it was mine. You did not give me their phone no. I had it from where I started digging trees right after they bought the property. You say what you want and your followers can believe your story if they want to but this is the TRUE STORY. What you did with the loader was an insult to what it can do. The machine weighs 76,000 lbs and will pick up 38,000 lb trees and walk with them with the boom I built myself. Yall believe what yall want to.
Funny how once you get it cleaned up and serviced everyone wants it. Glad you were able to recoup your costs, enjoyed the videos of the loader and getting it going etc. As a heavy duty mechanic I love your will it start to the point of almost telling you what to do next. Cheers my friend.
Bruce, I've been back watching all your content since you started back. I missed you while you were off RU-vid. You guys do an awesome job, keep up the good work.
According to U.S. law, property that is left behind by a tenant is typically assumed to be abandoned after a specific timeframe. This timeframe can be anywhere between one week and one year. If the property remains unclaimed during this timeframe, it may be disposed of, or sold in order to recoup storage costs.
Yep, in my state the length of time is a year and one day. There is a requirement to notify the owner via registered mail, the time starts at the post marked date on the certified letter.
That was the best dagum loader I ever knew!.......sniffle.....sniffle. He should of had some slomo and some John Denver of him working on it creating those memories. lol Country Road..... Take me Home.... To the Place.... I once belonged..............
Yeah pretty much people are greedy. i got a huge dozer on my land i bought 10 years ago and i still have it i fought the previous owner for 4 years before he gave up on trying to take the dozer back.
I personally would have removed the hose that was change and put the junk 1 back in. Only because i had same thing happened to me with a backhoe that i bought. We ended up putting majority of new hoses on. And then the previous owner claimed we stole it. We pulled off all the new lines and put junk broken lines back on and had to give it back. Previous owner was pissed and tried to sue us. Which we lucky won with proof that the replacement hoses were ours and not from machine originally. At least they are paying you back for your work .
I find this whole thing with the Iron Giant strange because that thing sat abandoned and neglected for a couple of years until you came along to do something about it. Then all of a sudden, the original owner magically appears out of nowhere to take it from you after you had put the hours and labor into getting it going when their lazy ass let it go. It's good you are bleeding them for what they owe you because if you hadn't come upon it, it would still be sitting in that field by the freeway collecting rust. People really amuse me, Bruce at how all of sudden, something they didn't care about suddenly becomes something they care about which makes me scratch my head in bemusement.
Just to let you know I had just been up there 2 weeks prior to Bruce deciding to start on it and took the batteries out and when I saw he was messing with it I told him it was mine and I wanted it back. You dont know even a fraction of the true story.
he doesnt have to give it back. The property owner owned that loader on the 31st day it was left on his property. Look it up. Any home or business this applies to. Doesnt matter if its an SR-71 or a paper clip.
Man,, Thats so sad. At least you got your sale price back and compensated for all the work you put in it. Hope you find something BETTER than what you lost for a future project. That sure is a nice Jump Box. WOW! Hope you get some video on it being loaded up and leaving the property. Love the channel!
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 It could’ve gone a little bit differently, but at least you guys worked out a deal. Makes you wonder about some people though. At least you didn’t get burnt.🧐 Glad to hear that you have plenty more good stuff coming up! Will be good to see Flat Nasty back up & running! 🥰😎✌️
Technically in Florida anything left on a property for longer than 90 days becomes the property owners. So the loader left possession of the original owner. So you can have full right to refuse sale on the loader if you want.
Considering his past issues with the law and them chomping at the bit to punish a decent person, he’s probably better off to let it go and not fight it. People are scumbags.
@@quyenlowe2684 but when the second phase of the job is still to come it can stay for as long as the project manager or superintendent allows it. So it was not sold by neither There for it was stolen no matter how you pick it up or put it down
Hey Bruce as always great video gonna miss the iron giant yeah I have an electric bike I have a rad Rover five they’re a lot of fun and you stay in shape with him I lost quite a bit of weight riding mine on pedal assist mode and you get a good workout God bless stay safe and keep sending the videos
I miss the old diesel truck video and the shop. That Stainless Diesel 5 blade turbo is very powerful. We have Smeding Diesel in Texas, which is very affordable for the turbo and the other parts.
My aunt bought a property in Lakeland and the previous owner left a few vehicles and a boat behind and never came to get them. So after 2 yrs she went to the DMV and got a lien on them and after 60 days she got the titles for them in her name.
The original owners are slippery. You put in all the hard work getting that thing fixed up & off the property. Hope you charged them normal shop rates for all the work you did. It would 100% still be sitting there if you hadn't of come along.
Hi from uk Bruce 👋 👍 even on all the work you mentioned on iron giant there was all the trouble and serviceman to do tyres we she sat forever too, its a shame really you seemed buzzing to have something this big and that drive home was something to remember 👌🤣just pleased your getting something back and ripped off for your time 👌 hope everything went OK with delivery and amber and your new lady are OK and flat nasty 2.0 is half the truck of original truck ( did you keep front bumper that had flatnasty onnit ? ) thanks for your time be safe and see you soon 👍 👋
man what a bummer... really cool story though and crazy! Gald it got all worked out with the compensation for time/ labor, hopefully your end of the stick isn't the shortest. It served it's time and you made some great content with it and now you've got a great story out of it too LOL. I'm newer to the channel and have yet to even see the loader's "Will it start" (i'm gonna watch it right after this) but I can flat out guarantee that Bruce Wilson will not stop delivering A1 content with or without the Iron Giant.
I saw that puller for sale in the consignment Bruce I didn’t know that was originally yours. Still has the blue painters tape with the price. Thought it was a pretty good deal. Glad you got it back!
The iron giant!! Omg! That looks like a Kawasaki 95Z3!!! If you got this machine in Pennsylvania then it is possible I used to operate this machine for a lot of years in Western Pennsylvania!
If it's not running again, they won't want it now. Lol . Always majorly saving my life motivational.... Salute, blessings to everyone grind and Motivations....
I live in Moses Lake right next to Seattle and there's four of them dozers exactly like that has the big old one like that exactly like that there's one that has the bucket and then there's one that has to scoop bucket that pulls it up and it's like a two-in-one and the guys only wanting $20,000 for them all and he's an old man and they've been sitting there for 15-20 years now I live in Moses Lake
Where I live when something is on a property that's been abandoned and someone else bought the property they can sell it and the original one don't get it back
I would take everything I put into it off and give it back. Bon appetit! 😅😂🤣 Ok, as long as you are compensated, done deal. You are the MAN! Tim at Gentry and sons has giant loader for sale for I believe he said 30k .....fyi ✌️🇺🇸
