After months of waiting, SLZ has finally given us an update on Bonelab. We now know a beta is coming later this year. Today, I'm breaking everything down and sharing my thoughts on stress level zero and their bonelab anniversary post
This game almost feels like it was designed to be multiplayer and yet they didn't make it multiplayer. At this time though, the game won't be revived by multiplayer alone. We need more content that isn't user created
Its creative fun until you meet jimmy. Then you collect avatars for an hour and then you get one good level and its over. It can't be said that its lazy, its just not as creative as they could have been
I would like them to update the AI for the game, where the fords can move and walk around or even pick up weapons, that would make a world of possible impacts
"Tons of work has gone into a long term goal of unifying the player and the humanoid NPC’s, still years from completion, but it’s worth pursuing."(from the anniversary post) so yeah they are working on adding that
I completely agree with you on all of this except for are you saying that those other two opinions are valid it takes a long time to develop an SDK for a VR game even for non VR games with teams with hundreds of people like Bethesda is still takes a good six months to get an SDK out and besides it's not like yall know anything about game development. The biggest shocker in that post is that they felt motivated by the community in any way. You really should get more views than you do your content is amazing. And there's this cool doc you should probably read it it's a bunch of content found data mining you can get to the doc by going on wigwam vrs video on the post on a comment my original comment was removed for adding the exact same way to get to it so I don't want to risk it
I personally believe all opinions are valid as long as they aren't harmful in a meaningful way. People saying this post isn't enough for them is perfectly fine. If they attack the devs over this opinion, then its no longer a valid opinion because its now harmful instead. I just checked wigwam channel, and I don't see a video or a post about data mined stuff. And thank you for your kind words about my channel. I'm trying my best to grow, but it isn't as easy as some youtubers make it look. I'll be reaching out to different creators soon for potential vr collabs. If you have amy suggestions for that, let me know
The doc is in a comment on his latest vid. And I don't like downloadable content that much but if you can get a collab it would really boost your channel.
I feel that. My hope is that the marrow engine becomes something more studios use for vr games. Like imagine if a game like pavlov used the engine. Or a gritty survival horror. It would be awesome
I just want a Boneworks 2. All I want is a less buggy and high quality game that doesn't rely on mods. Boneworks was the perfect VR game in my opinion. The lore wasn't extremely confusing but didn't give you every detail straight away. Everything within Boneworks made it feel perfect. The feeling that the game gives you when you first walk into the Central Station and see a train station that is completely empty with the Time Tower looming in the distance. Boneworks is one of the few single player games that makes me feel like I'm actually there like. BoneLabs didn't give me that feeling. The joke within bonelabs that says "what if this is just a tech demo" makes Bonelabs just feel like a tech demo to what the Quest headsets can do. I know this is a nerd post about me meat riding Boneworks but Idgaf
@@very_real I appreciate you decided to give me your stance on this situation. I realize my statement was rather bold, but since you took time out of your job to respond to my commentary; i no longer have the same stance. Thank you for awnsering my question.
There is no content in this update, so personally, I think it’s useless. And there are no good mods either. I am not really that interested in different avatars, so mods are useless too. Multiplayer mod was great though. Shame no one of my friends is interested in vr.
