It doesn't matter how many trailers you have in your presentation. If you keep your last one to the very end and say "we have one more thing", anticipation is instantly x10
age of mythology making a comeback is insane, I remember spamming random disasters for fun; finding out tornadoes become waterspouts when used on water was sick
dude atrioc talks so much shit about how stupid youtube commenters are and i always thought they were sarcastic and he was dumb, but holy SHIT this comment section proves him right. The title was “xbox show case sucked” with atrioc disappointed in the thumbnail and the big word “silksong?” like how can you people not connect the dots and realize he’s not saying it sucks because their were no good games, he exaggerating that it sucks because he wanted silk song news. not to mention his editor made the title and thumbnail not him. idk how people can even be this dumb
Ik Silksong is a meme at this point and could very well be the friends we made along the way, but I was entirely expecting it to be announced and released the day of the showcase. RIP
I wonder, if they one day announce it, will they double down on the performance issues we were promised in the steam trailer? Cause those frames looked chunky, if I may say so myself.
you guys are making silksong way more important and relevant than it actually is the more these guys cant shut up about it the less i want to hear about it
Don't go down this enshittification path like many have done before, just know my engagement with the video wasn't because of the clickbaity title but because I wanted to watch atrioc so take that into account when comparing the statistics okay?
Watching through this video and that winter burrow game was the first one that didn’t look like hot garbage. It’s so interesting to me that Brandon is prejudiced against worse graphics, and I am prejudiced against good graphics. Every game before that one looked like hot garbage to me lmao.
I knew that they didn't announce Silksong at the Xbox event. I knew that. I saw all the announcements myself... And I STILL clicked on this thinking: "Well maybe..."
Nothing inherently, it’s just usually sequels are made because the first one made money. A good sequel can build a franchise, but with some games (cod or fifa or Pokémon) it feels like a cash grab since not much actually changes, or they make changes the community didn’t ask for/doesn’t like.
nothing too wrong with sequals in a vacuum, but media's reliance on sequals and almost exclusively sequals is bad because original new IP are very important too, but its easier and safer for studios to make sequals so they'll milk an IP for as long as they can before making something new and original imagine if the teams and budgets that go into sequential games instead went to new ideas and new games.
