Dylan: "I feel like, why not have this camp disband? That would be a cool ending." Also Dylan: Panicking the last 5 minutes, thinking it was going to end with the camp disbanded
Yeah I was thinking about it too. Like Michie is like “why do you have the same hairstyle as I did?” Mean girl:” because I want to be you” and then the mean girl slowly starts to look like michie and Michie realizes this and gets creeped out by the minute the mean girl plots to kill her and take over her identity to become her and have what Michie has that the mean girl doesn’t have.
“Joe, Nick, Jonathan.” “Joe, Nick, Anthony.” “Joe, Nick, KEVIN.” I wheezed so hard my head started to hurt omg lol I felt so disrespected for Jonathan, Anthony, Kevin 😂💀
@@cassidyworthem5624 Oof yes. That episode was so good imo since I'm a Sharpay(?) stan. Like she has faults but so does everyone else! Doesn't make her a bad character.
it would’ve been more dramatic if one of the jonas’ brothers wanted to go to the other side instead. split up the family and the band. that’s some real drama
It would've been so much more interesting if Tess went to Camp Star and realized she was a big fish in a big pond now instead of immediately rising to the top.
Tiffany Kim No lol, she was a big fish at camp rock and she would still be one, but everyone was just as “talented” as her at Camp Star. She would have to fight through the sea of pretty, thin, talented white girls to be noticed.
I think they didn’t do that because, if she came back to Camp Rock later it would seem that she did it only to become relevant again... But I agree. It would have been cool to see her getting humble.
*It’s kind of always been my dream to fight a group of small children ... I feel like I could win ... but I don’t want to harm them, so it’d have to be like a fictitional scenario* - Dylan 2019
I get what your saying but if he played to much of the song (over 10 seconds) he has a good chance of getting a copyright claim. So he didn’t play to much of the song
@@excessivelyfangirlingbookw3339 Yep. Frankie Jonas (known also as the Bonus Jonas). He was way too young to be in the band the first time around, that's why it's only Kevin, Joe, and Nick.
has he realised that Tess (the girl he hates from camp rock) is played by the same actress who plays Jess (the girl he hates in until dawn) I think there's some unconscious hate for the actress lololololol
It’s been like 9 years and I still don’t understand how Nick Jonas’ “introducing me” song can be the same tune as I’m Yours by Jason Mraz and no one has ever cared lmao
Actually it was brought to Jason Mraz’s attention and he said he didn’t care because according to him, “it was just a tremendous, tremendous horror of a tune,"
Dylan: I hope they lose at the end and the camp closes Also Dylan: wHAT?! They are ending it so SAD! There has got to be some sort of consolation at the end like the camp won’t close! whAT ARE YOU DOING BRO YOU’VE GOT THREE MINUTES!!?! bRO WHATTT?!
I love how much Dylan wanted Camp Rock to lose and get shut down, but as soon as the movie went that route he was so distressed and was begging for them to fix it.
I remember being an extra in the crowd for the big camp rock performance towards the end. It was filmed at a park outside, in November and it was about -20 degrees Celsius in between takes everyone would put their coats and blankets back on. They would't let us have our coats in the shot, in order to make it look like summer. I remember being on set for 6 hours trying not to freeze but as soon as cameras were rolling all of us had to pretend we were at the greatest summer concert ever.
Something a lot of people don't know, is that Disney recorded 2 endings, one where they win and one where they lose, to keep the extras about spoiling the real ending.
The fact that Dylan did not react to the GENIUS lyric that is "I like cheese but only on pizza, please, and sometimes on a homemade quesadilla otherwise it smells like feet to me" hurts me deeply
One thing that’s ironic about the story is they hated Tess for singing lead and keeping the others as background singers but Mitchie was doing the same here
1. They filmed this in Vancouver during the winter that’s why you could see their breath 2. How could he skip over this kiss?!??!??? 3. I’m so mad Dylan never realized that Frankie is in this movie
Kevin Mentioned the idea of Camp Rock 3 but rated R a few years ago and now Joe, Nick And even Demi have said they would only do a third one if it was rated R, which I found very interesting and funny!
Was anybody else ridiculously excited when this premiered on the Disney Channel? I remember panicking that I was going to miss it when it came on tv (even though my family was on vacation at the time) lol
I was on family vacation during that time, too, and I remember very clearly me, 8, and my sister, 14, sitting in our hotel room watching that movie together
Fun Fact : The black guy during the Tour Bus scene was their real Bodyguard (BigRob) and the kid who is videotaping ever thing is the Jonas brother younger brother :3 Big Fan of JB ,loved Camp rock 💗
I hated how Shane was acting in this movie because the camp is literally his Uncle’s livelihood but he’s acting like Mitchie trying to save said livelihood is an inconvenience to their “relationship”.
I feel like I never took to Camp Rock bc the musical numbers were very staged or it was stated, "this is a performance/rehearsal" before they went on. Camp Rock 2 had more HSM spontaneous or non-organized numbers like It's On and the opening which I liked.
let's just say Dylan hates all Meghan Martins characters, camp rock as the mean girl Tess and Jess in Until Dawn. hahaha, I love it! oh and we can't forget mean girls 2!
The fact that they are singing in unison in the ''Wouldn't change a thing'' song is to illustrate how far they feel from one another. Like Michie is doing her thing and Shane his thing but the whole point was to be together if you think about it it's kinda genius and their best duet of the whole thing.
So he said no one had ever written his name on their hand before: 1. It’s on her wrist 2. It’s a bit creepy, why does he seem in awe? 3. The brothers are supposed to be famous so I BEG TO DIFFER!!!!!
I didn't like that they made this movie into a straight up musical. Shout out to Frankie "the bonus Jonas" who makes appearances in this movie, and who Dylan clearly has no knowledge of. Thanks for the laughs Dylan!
I'm a HUGE musical fan and while I loved the first one I remember feeling awfully disappointed to see that it wasn't a musical type of thing so when this movie, Camp Rock 2, came along and it was more of a musical I was like, "YES!" It's been my main favorite Camp Rock movie since. :)
Can we just talk about how Nick looks like he's ready to kill someone the whole movie? Especially when they're telling Brown that they're gonna be counselors. But then again it is Nick.
Dylan: "Don't tell kids to wear tighter pants, please. It's weird." "Don't proposition children." Also Dylan: "It's kind of always been my dream to fight a group of small children."
"They're not singing in sync at all" Dude, you never heard that kind of musical structure before? I guess they don't do those much nowadays, but it's not a wrong thing to do in songs. Both parts match the beat, like two sides of the same coin, and eventually reach the same lines in the chorus. It's fun to sing to with a partner, kept duets interesting. Man, speaking of which, is it just me, or did duets used to be a bigger deal back in the day? More powerful, I don't know.
@@carlaconnor8347 I can't think of any from the top of my head at the moment, other than that one moment from when Jerry Trainor and Jack Black himself did a musical number in an iCarly episode XD. But to find actual songs with that style, google "Counterpoint Duet Songs", you'll get a whole list
Sorry this is a late reply, from High School Musical the Music The Series- Even When/ The Best Part by Nini and Ricky/ Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Basset
*The Jonas Brothers:* having a serious conversation *Dylan:* Is that a poster of a horse?!?! *Me:* WhO caReS ThEy'RE hAVinG SOmE bRO TO BrO BonDiNG caN YoU noT See ThaT?!!?
I really hate Demi’s character in this movie... she is quite bossy and stubborn and in some points she is selfish. I prefer the original movie personally
nobody: dylan: It's kinda always been my dream to fight a group of small children, like around 7 or 8 years old. Just to see how I'd fair, like with 12 of them. I feel like I could win.
