Actually he’s right, in the movie she had a year or something to get married but kept putting it off until last minute, until it became 30 days. Dylan maybe cut that part out when they said that
imeantloveyou5eva and ur spelling was the best I’ve ever seen in my got dam life too🤣🤣I’m jkkkkk haha. But fr that rlly is one of my fav movie lines ever
Dylan: "Julie, you fell in love with a man... with an earring?" Me, sitting next to my boyfriend as he puts his earring on to go get groceries: * *sweats profusely* *
@@NehaSingh-cs9iq Unfortunately, we broke up on October 10th 2022 😔 It was amicable and mostly due to our impending graduation and the distance that would be created from us wanting to move to different countries. Ironically, we both ended up doing our masters in the same country, but it was already too late 😅
@@idontdomarigolds yess!! I loved it as a kid, and read it recently and it holds up well. It's my favorite cinderella retelling, one reason being it doesn't have that love at first sight thing, another being Ella is very charming and real. I reccomend it to literally everyone
The only useful thing the maids did was distract Julie Andrews from looking out the window so she wouldn't see Anne Hathaway climbing out the window. Literally the only useful thing they did.
You know when you laugh so hard that you don't really make any noise and look like you're being possessed by a demon? That's me during the whole Dylan-reacts-to-imitation-of-boy-mooses bit.
see if that was a new character it wouldn't be funny..so you gotta give the movie credit for bringing him back to make a funny reference..and good joke...thats cool...thats an extra point...but because like 4 other characters they brought back add nothing to the film and are on screen too much for cut aways it ruins that..
The “call me joey” was a call back to when they first met in the first movie. She asked if she could call him Joey and he said “No, joe.” These movies were my childhood
I mean, I don't think the shots were done well, but I think the reason for including people listening in but not participating is to show the lack of privacy in the queen and Mia's life; in fact, in any public figure's life. The shots were probably exaggerated because this movie is technically targeted towards young girls who may not pick up on subtlety.
Love Grande Yo I thought you were joking 👀 Then I googled it. I'm intrigued yet slightly concerned. I was 15 when the first one came out. I don't know how I feel about a third movie 💀
@@eval4495 i started reading the books when I was like 5/6, and I remember there being a time where I got mad that the author kept writing new books. Watching these movie reviews are also a walk down memory lane, and I genuinely hope they don't fuck up the 3rd one too badly. Lol.
@@KR-xx7cf Yeah she does end up with him, or at least from what I remember. I think there was a subplot where she ended up with a guy they tried forcing her to be with because Michael wasn't "good enough" or something dumb, but I think she ultimately ends up w him
It may not be real, but there’s a website completely dedicated Genovia with more info on the royal family, history, culture, etc. It’s really cool, but makes you sad it’s not real
Dylan getting angry at the stylist guy for making him laugh is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life, there are tears in my eyes and my sides hurt from laughing so hard. I'm the type of person to laugh without making any sound, imagine that pain.
Lmao, he just doesn't actually listen to the dialogue. He can't remember the references from the previous movie probably 'cause he hates it too much... 🤣🤣
I love this movie, actually both Princess Diaries. They give me a nostalgic feeling i can't really explain. I watched when i was just a kid and was in absolute love with everything in it, it was so original and quirky back in the day when it came out, just like a whole new concept. Yeah, watching nowadays as a grown adult it isn't the same as watching it as a 5yo, it's not as funny, you can see its full of comic relief and whatnot, but i still love it because it reminds me of innocent easier days. This movies delivers exactly what it offers, and i love it. (And Chris Pine, Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews, sign me tf up. Iconic) (Joe is a hitman 100%)
@@xhenetaqaili642 Then don't just watch it tho, not that big deal. Every each of us have our own opinions in our lives or even to the movie we watch. If you think that his jokes are lame then you shouldn't probably watching him. Stop stressing out yourself over someone who doesn't even know you or who won't be able to see your comments.
I love the fact that he cringes and rolls his eyes at every cliche, romantic scene but me, being a total romantic, would swoon if the man I loved told me that shit HAHAHAHA.....
KimAmina I feel like when Dylan talks about directing choices in Disney movies and how obvious and stupid they are he doesn’t remember that their target audience is like 10 year olds😂😂😂😂😭😂😂 They don’t get subtle cues yet Dylan lmfao
I used to ADORE these movies as a kid. Now they bore me tbh...hahahaha maybe that's cause I re-watched them too much. (I still love that poodle though)
Dylan: "How many times are you going to tell me you directed this movie Gary?" Me: Can't stop laughing. Also Dylan: Trying really hard to hate the hairdresser until.... Hairdresser: "You're a cute moose. You make all the boy moose go WHAAA." Dylan: "I LOVE THIS GUY!" You're awesome Dylan. Thanks for another great video! :)
conspiracy theory at least they're not full of chips, otherwise they'd be covered in mold. Now you know why there's so much air in them, there's an actual reason
That "Joe - Joey" part is a reference to the first movie. When she first meets him he's like" my name is Joe". And she says "can i call you Joey" and he's like "No. Joe". So in this one when hes like "Would you prefer to call me Joey?" She says "No. Joe"
Oh god i used to listen to that Kelly Clarkson song all the damn time, this move was my shit. Also fun fact, Julie Andrews singing in that scene is kinda a big deal cause that was the first time she sung in a long time since her battle with throat cancer and she was told she wouldn't be able to sing like she used too and while yes she can't just hearing her sing softly was enough to make adult me tear up and I am not ashamed of that xD
A couple of the things I really loved in the vid was your attention to the background characters reactions and details and how excited u were when the "hitman" spoke to the villian. 😂
I think the reason there's so many useless extras is to emphasize how royals never have privacy and are always surrounded by people that don't play an actual role in their lives. I think the royal setting is created by the extras and the feeling of wealth and power by using fancy wardrobe and fancy themes in the background.
in the beginning they gave her one year, then they said she only had 30 days left. that’s one month. one month less than a year is 11 months. it’s been 11 months she has one month left.
21:24 The POINT is is there's no chemistry between them so their kiss is not ever worth screen time. They're showing you as a viewer everything except the important characters which makes it seem unimportant, empty, boring - because that's how their whole relationship is.
