I retired to Central America last year and wanting to help my community; I had 3 speed humps installed on our dirt block. Made out of dirt/mud humps have to be touched up every 3 weeks. Neighbors spoke about the reduction of dust in the homes. It's been nearly a year since I installed the Humps and not one neighbor has lifted a hand to say, "I'll pay to get them touched up this time" !! NOT ONE!!!! After initially paying someone to fill them, I just do it myself now. Every few days I grab my broom and basket and sweep up the plastics on our block. Another solo mission I partake in. If you're not familiar in Central America one can buy drinking water in 8oz plastic pouches; which people simply toss/drop after drinking. Will be interesting to see/hear if the community reciprocates for the good this young lady and boyfriend do for the people. Will they at least value that which gets done to help their lives? AND NOT DESTROY IT!!!!!!!!!!!
