I’ve been checking in on Jimmy since his "Test Drive Unlimited - a Lap of the Island (6.9K subs special)" from 2016, which _still_ has only 5.1K views. He was near the bottom depression-wise then, but starting to see the path he was about to embark upon - learning about cars and how to fix them, and making a career out of RU-vid. He deserves great, great credit for the way he's conquered that depression. (I've done the same BTW, without becoming (or wanting to become) a RU-vid star, and without ph@rma crap. In both our cases, the secret was probably working hard, and having pride in your work.)

@@ConnorHammond anywhere from 1-10k depending on how badly things goes not including track rental. Cosworth XD turbo engine, would make around 850 normally around 700 now for reliability as parts need to be custom ordered and not many places can or are allowed to work on it. Lola T9700 chassis with no racing/team history, although confirmed an authentic CART. Auction car that didn't meet reserve then privately sold.

@@aojracing4885 I wouldn't be in such a hurry to leave what they have behind. Besides the CUP car is very very different. IMHO there is way to much contact in cup.
