You can literally play drums with anything. When I was a kid me and my brother broke so many sticks, in between purchases we’d play with rulers, sticks from outside really anything
***I FORGOT WHICH VIDEO HAD IT*** okay so the image of Wade glaring _daggers_ into the camera as he’s forced to play Pepsi Man has been seared into my brain and I’ve been looking for it everywhere!! Finally found it!
I have absolutely zero interest in iPods, mankey MP3 players or audiophile shenanigans and I still absolutely love this channel. You are beyond entertaining, I love your whole vibe, and I hope the channel and the stream just keeping kicking ass.
Totally agree, I always stored a lot of music on my phone (like 1gb or 2) and I wanted a specific mp3 player for the music so my phone dont get so filled And thank God i found this channel, is gold
Came across your channel today and my mind is blown. As a collector of retro junk and lover of music, I'm here to stay. That scarlet fire was absolutely nuts! Need a full video of you playing that. It hits so different with real drums over it. 🙌🏿
I remember USING these as a kid!!! My granddad had a drumkit but he was also an early adopter of the iUniverse and he had these. I thought they were the COOLEST thing I'd ever seen. I never thought I would see these again!!
I can't believed how blessed we are to have the RU-vid reveal be him playing Scarlet Fire physically on drums using weird nugget tech with PKCells inside of them. Peak DankPods right there.
Now I wanna see a "Will it drum?" segment in nugget videos. Anything stick-shaped gets used as drum sticks, and anything with a mic gets to sit in the bass drum during a solo 😁
I remember being gifted these when I was probably 12-14. My aunt thought they did something on their own and it was awhile later until I realized you needed an MP3 player for it. I got them to work a few times and then I’m pretty sure I tossed them 😂 crazy to see these again though, really dusted off a memory.
I did briefly think, since I caught it for a few minutes before my internet crapped out, he's spent all his unemployment(???) time just practicing all these songs XD
This is the best video to show friends who have never watched a Dank Pods video before. It literally has everything in it. Cheap garbage item from Wish, Wade's socks, PKCells, Drum stream footage, Pepsi Man, Scarlet Fire, Frank shedding skin
"People don't think Frank exists" Honestly, since we never saw your face, I assumed Frank was the narrator, and that she had snakey reasons not to reveal the fact that she could talk or had hands.
I knew Frank was his snake, and I'm a relative newcomer to this channel about garbage MP3 nuggets. You don't see him often in videos, but he is there from time to time when he feels like showing off his snake pal
Man drumming is something I have always always wanted to do. I'm legit feeling out over you playing the drums. I always live vicariously through real drummers, and watching you play gives so much satisfaction ❤️
Having that amount of hand eye coordination to play drums is honestly amazing and I wish I had that ability. That drumming was actual fire...Scarlet fire
always love seeing a phenomenal drummer. been playing for about 10 years myself and im now a session drummer and a recording engineer. Cant wait to catch one of your streams man!
Same here, been doing that kind of stuff for 7 years myself and am now learning to be a music producer but I still always love seeing other drummers just doing their thing.
I mean you held the sticks, moved them in a drumming motion, and then sounded like a pro. I feel like they worked! It even sounded like you were playing different drums. And it looked like it too. Maybe it was an illusion on the camera or something.
Honestly, it's just refreshing to see anything good come out of my home town Adelaide. Between this guy and Fringy I've been surprised twice in a year!
Have been binge watching your content since one of your videos popped up in my recommended yesterday. You're now my favourite RU-vidr and Scarlet Fire is stuck in my head. Sounds amazing when you play it on the drums.
I have been trained by this channel to expect pain in my ears when there is Scarlet Fire playing. Hearing it in its purest of forms has left me properly confused.
You've mentioned before that you're a professional musician and drummer but seeing you actually in your element and playing is amazing you're truly amazing!
Holy shit. Just found your channel out of nowhere and I loved it. And then all of a sudden you’re a drummer too, it might be a dream come true. A damn good drummer as well
I introduced my dad and my big brother to this channel and they both love it and they both laughed along and they both are drummers so they both enjoyed this.
started watching your channels for weeks now and just now realized they're all you. Frank confirmed it. And yhe green. I love everything from the weird cymbals to the crappy mp3 players :D much love from the states mate
I remember having these even when they did "work" it only registered half the hits if you were lucky. It was before I actually started getting into drums and before I got my first kit and it's surprising that it didn't just kill my interest in drums
I feel the same way for some reason, between frank shedding, the reveal of the stream, and the new pkcells, it definitely feels like this season’s ending. We gotta get ready for the next season now tho
I'm absolutely amazed you were able to get your hands on one of these, I got a pair probably around 6 or 7 years old, and it took me a week to figure out how the hell they worked. I found it worked best with a pad (binder, book, little brothers back, etc) and you had to hold down the button for whichever drum you wanted, then smack your platform of choice
Watching you play the drums here sums up exactly why I watch this channel, you're so clearly passionate about your work and it shines through at every turn in your videos You're a bloody legend mate, keep rocking on
They made a wireless set that also had a bass pedal!! I used to have them when I was a kid Edit: After watching this, Dankpods needs to try to find a pair of the wireless ones and try them!
