I understood his videos on first try and I have sensory issues. LOL Then again, my thoughts and conversations go off on tangents constantly, so it's normal for me, I guess. lol
I see Necrit as someone who likes looking at lore in-depth, absorbs the information & process it internally before saying it. "Snap reaction content", especially with omega-dense AND ludicrous-speed editing is a different ballpark entirely.
As lore enthusiastic, Mondstadt does have huge amount of lore (It mostly discuss Teyvat + Celestia lore) but usually lock behind limited time event such as Unreconciled Star, 2 Dragonspine event, GAA and latest Windblume breath. Oh, there's many suspicious fairytale disguised as long lost history and prophecy. Compare to other region aside from Archon, most important and walking lore character are from Mondstadt. (We have Venti, Albedo, Keaya, Mona and Alice) Don't forget that Time and Winds main home is Mondstadt. Even the 'We will be reunited trailer' place heavy important to nameless island in Mondstadt. Edit: How can I forgot about Barbatos statue description of 'Gateway to Celestia' and yes, Venti did send someone to Celestia before via Windrise. Her name is Venessa
Necrit: "How many videos does Max0r upload per month?" Literally everyone: Per... month? Lmao. Nah, homie. Try per YEAR. And the answer is like 3-4. But, each and every single one is a straight up banger. He just doesn't miss. And if he does, it's ok. He's still got a pretty sizeable library of banger vids.
Ah yes, the "This is the first Max0r video I react to" Experience. Sensory Overload, Witnessing the EDITING OF THE GODS, memes and in-jokes faster than your monitor refresh rate. Nice
I mean, it IS sensory bombardment, but I HAVE seen songs that top it. Stupendium's Ad Infinitum rap is my mental reference for "sensory assault." It physical hurts to process for the first couple times.
While hoyo doesn’t encourage glitching, there’s several content creators who do a lot of glitching on stream and they are still in the content creator program, have still been sponsored by them, and have even had the official genshin account interact with them on stream.
38:00 Standard PC player statement. When my phone broke after 2,5 years of playing, I actually went on hiatus until I got another one because I, for the love of God, could not get used to PC controls at all. I still can't.
Some games have horrible pc controls (like souls games) and controllers are the "intended" way to play for the majority of video games, especially action-adventure games. But in Genshin I prefer keyboard over controller, it's really rare for me to play an action adventure game on keyboard but it's great here, it's simple and intuitive for pc players. If you're having trouble, it's not a Genshin problem, it's probably because you have never played with a keyboard before. WASD F 1234, it can't get any simpler than that
That was like me at first but when I started to play on PC with mouse and keyboard, I never go back to mobile since then. There is no more games install on my Phone and that's a good thing cuz it lengthen my battery lifespan. I've been using my Phone since 2018. 😂
This has changed a few times (usually between major patches), but as last I heard: * Celestia does now have a 3D model, but it doesn't have an objective location in the game's coordinate system so you can't actually get near it. * The moon does have both a model and location - you could try to land on it - but nobody bothered to make it solid. * It's easier than it used to be to cross to and from Inazuma underwater due to changes made to the ocean floor, but it's still neither fast nor especially safe given that if you haven't been there properly the lightning that pretty much shuts down ice bridging could reach underwater just fine. And I still think the most satisfying way to reach Sumeru starts with jumping down into the Chasm and looking for the connections which the subterranean ecology will suggest have to be there, though that's cute too. [Appended]: Oh, I like Jueyun Karst. You don't really have to do that much mountain climbing - there are shortcuts all over the place for getting up in a hurry. They're just a lot better hidden than the smaller number of ones in Monstadt. It fits the intended feel of that area - that progress comes more swiftly to those willing to stop, meditate, and reflect on the world.
@@gladiusbladeofthenorth9939 Celestia is floating above to the north of rainforest sumeru, east of the desert, west of stormterror's lair. we cannot reach at this moment. its in the blank part of the map, suspected to be part of fontaine.
"You can't play genshin on mobile" Me: "Get on my level, I have Genshin, HSR and Blue Archive installed." (It gets hot as hell and my storage is crying)
@@recklesserves155 From my experience in ROG phone 3, HSR is much more demanding at max setting and I can barely run it at 15 fps and had to tweak down a little bit in order to get smooth 30 fps while Genshin runs 30 fps at the highest setting. I think the difference comes from better lighting and reflection.
@@NiN100 I play HSR at like 50-60 fps, I dont really run mine at max settings tho, sure i'll max the details but shadows, filters, etc. are all disabled or very low. Edit: I have not played genshin on my phone yet, but if what you say is true then i might download it just to see how smooth i can get it to run. Maybe I'll never miss a commision ever again.
@NiN100 strange because i peak at 45 fps on lowest settings for genshin while hsr gets the same fps but at max settings. I thought hsr was less demanding since its instance based and not true open world
To answer Necrit's question at 13:45 , My friend who lives in Belgium has full access to the game despite the lootbox law, not sure about other places, but the game passes inspection somehow.
Max0r vids are addicting. Been wathing him before he even get into Genshin, I am also surprised he is playing Genshin tbh. Been watching his short videos since 4 years ago and his growth as a content creator is really impressive. He also do collabs with my favourite content creators.
Necrit constantly says "im bad at reacting" while mentioning how long the edit would take, commenting about everything he knows, and rewatching some parts he really likes. Yeah Necrit, that's quite a lot and I enjoy it
I'd argue that Dragonspine and Enkananomiya aren't seperate from their respective regions like the Chasm is since they were released so close to their respective region.
Didn't experct Necrit to react to Max0r videos, but so happy he did, guy put so much work into each videos. Really want to see Necrit look at the Incorrect Summaries now, even though they're more chaotic.
With people spamming him about it since this came out, I think it was about time. There was just too much spam as soon he started to react to anything else
Dragonspine is part of Mondstadt, the Chasm is part of Liyue. You could argue that Enkyonomia and the Underground Chasm arent (though the descendants of Enkyonomiya are Inazuman now) They may be the remnants of dead civilizations but so is most of Liyie, and we dont even have the rest of Liyue and Mondstadt so the fact that the Chasn and Dragonspine came later, dont count.
Now I'm curious if you've seen Stupedium's Genshin Rap. It's... surprisingly concise and tongue-in-cheek for being a summary of Genshin's lore in song-form.
11:35 Celestia model somewhat relative to the player position. If you get too close to it it's shrinks. You can find a video about reaching Celestia made by Moosashi, where it is shown.
Sir, I've been playing Genshin on my phone pretty much every day since around the first month of release. Oh, sorry, did I say phone? I meant my hand warmer.
I hope that "I played 700 hours to find genshins flaws" vid isint gonna be a super negative one, I mean it sounds like it is, but Im hopeing it wont just trash the game? since you can talk about negative aspects of it while still enjoying the game and having a positive vibe. I loved Necrit's entry into genshin along with zepla, because they were both very positive about the game, something I didnt see in many genshin creators. So it would be a shame if Necrit turned sour on the game. Tho it doesn't sound like it? The title just came so out of nowhere, I got confused.
To me "I played 700h to find Genshin flaws" sounds like a compliment. If it took that long to find enough flaws to make a video, you know the game is just that good
@@legacymse7095 I suppose its how you interpret it, if that's what he means, that it took him that long to find issues, then thats cool. I at first interpreted it as "Instead of playing normally, my last 700 hours of playtime has been spent just looking at and focusing on the negative aspects of the game", which comes off a lot more negative.
Dude glitches in Genshin are the shit. The effort you need to do and the end result to bypass the game limits its part if us Genshin players life. Sadly large portions of people dont share the same sentienent . Its fun though
Necrit be saying he's not a good reactor but I think he performed as expected. 🤣 On another note, you need at least a $300 phone to run Genshin decently and anyone who can afford to get such phones for themselves can likely afford a team that "casually" obliterates enemies without much trouble.
You make it sound like you need to pay to do damage, that's... questionnable. But I have a similar argument: If people are willing to buy expensive phones, they can afford to buy a sd card. Like if you're going to buy a phone that's strong enough to run the most ambitious mobile game ever made, surely you can afford a SD card. I don't know why so many people complain about the size and all, and that's the reason why so many things are limited in this game
@@legacymse7095 I think you mistook what I mean. I don't mean characters who can output high damage but rather people who can output damage either through AOE (Kazuha/Sucrose), automatic attacks by summons (Fischl/Yaoyao), or coordinated attacks (Raiden/Albedo). IOW, teams where precise gameplay is not required. While you don't need to pay to pull together such a team, it's much easier to pull off if you're not strictly a f2p player.
Mondstadt and Dragonspine, Liyue and the Chasm, Sumeru and the Desert, Inazuma and Enkonomiya, these locations might be different from their counterpart but they are of one nation as they are ruled by one archon, which can be easily seen through the statues of the seven or reading the lore or the regular dialogue in the archon quests
In Belgium (where i live) lootboxes are not a thing but genshin uses the trick where you buy an ingame currency and use that to gamble the same way in league you buy rp and use that to buy the loot boxes/orbs
17:35 Was I the only one who fakking loved that place. The first time there is one of my best memories of this game. Sometime I still go there, set the clock to twilight and just look at the view. And you dont glide down, get the quest, the climb up the other mountain. You get the quest, teleport back up to the top and glide to the other mountain, get the flower then teleport back. Its one of the easiest daily quest in the game.
The reason why Enkanomiya is the best sub region is because of the limited time event for a whole patch where they add more enemies and quest to the map, it was so good The chasm event quest was interesting but not as good, the region itself is amazing tho
I used to play this on the PS4 and got my sister to play it too so we could play together, so she figured she could link the acc to her tablet and it works. 1 year later, I got a new phone and linked my account to my phone so I can play it anywhere. Then I went to Australia to pursue my studies, so I can't exactly bring the PS4 with me. I still play it on my phone these days and eventually got myself a new laptop too, but still play on mobile because I'm busy most of the time and don't really have a table to play on
18:17 - hey, at least each time you do it you get a step closer to an achievement. When one of the fellas goes to the Chasm you help them with each of the two options they'll give you, and later they leave Liyue and you won't have to do any of that mountain climbing anymore and get to enjoy your 5 primos That's probably not worth it, but at least it ends
13:36 idk if gacha is the same as lootboxes especially since genshin's banners have a pity system which makes it so you're technically guaranteed to get whatever you're rolling for as long as you have enough primogems to do so. the only thing you're gambling is how many primogems you'll need to spend to get what you want. except for the permanent banner i guess but it's not like people really spend their primos on it unless they're big fans of kaeya, amber, or lisa, but even then you can just buy their constellations in the starglitter shop. i guess there's also the 4 stars too since the pity for 4 stars on the weapon and character banners aren't specific like the pity is for the 5 stars which can lead to situations like my friend's where it took her 130+ rolls to get a single rosaria (around 90 on her first run on childe's first banner and the rest of the rolls on her second run on whoever's banner that was).
I played Genshin on mobile for 2 years. Never had a problem. I actually prefer it most of the time. I play on PC for Abyss cuz the response time when making big combes is slightly faster and its easter yo hit they keys. But when playing casually the controls are way more dynamic and intuitive on the phone.
Welp, Lets watch Max0r's video for the 50th time. Love it lol I watched the video on Fullscreen every single time. And I can pretty easily follow it. And May I say seeing someone who speaks English drink Kofola is weird....
*kofola spotted* 👀 Bloodborne, Elden ring and Resident evil 4 are his best ones. I know these by memory already because I watch it when I get into "waiting mode" or to balance out my shitty attention...
