Tbf, lots of people didn’t til they heard the “Paimon is a god” theories. Ei probably have the more mainstream demon name from all the deities we know so it wasn’t as obvious for lots of people.
@@0Annou0 Search - "Fischl and the Fatui Leitmotif" you will understand what I meant there, closest one is Signora, but her leitmotif is used in other Harbinger themes too, why it is there still a mystery, it maybe an allegory as Genshin loves to introduce future characters and story though older ones, like most obvious ones - Kaveh and Alhaitham, which also are allegory on Amun Al-Akhmar's 2 states, so maybe Fischl is some kind of allegory on some Fatui, maybe there is another reason, but this is very strange that Hoyoverse, that pays so much attention to details, especially in music, suddenly made leitmotifs of Fischl sound similar to Signora and Fatui in overall...

It never actually stopped: those domains weren't tied to the main storyline but to character story quests. It's just that the character story quests for Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa aren't called that because they show up too early and the game tries to feed mechanics in slowly. At this point, they'll also be less meaningful because while the basic idea of "a domain intended to be played through with a specific character" hasn't gone out of fashion, most players will have the resources to find some other way around or through the puzzles and will choose to while complaining the puzzles were weird.
It was about the memes not the lore. But to be fair, the game lore is built around Gnosticism I doubt he is interested in real life lore of how religions in the world developed and their ideas. Then again he said that the game lore is way too big for him to cover due to it needing a lot of time and that there are already people doing it as well as he has moved from lore coverage in general, same goes for Warhammer 40K as he even said in the video that he never listened to voicelines past that one video, nor character profiles, weapon/artifact stories etc.
1.0 characters had two different splash arts for the large one showing when they drop in the gacha and for that card-like one on the summon screen showing the result of your 10roll. Then they went to using the sake art for both with later characters because it was redundant to make two different illustrations. Why Lisa's likely looks weird to you is it just being different from the one you see everywhere.

Raiden is known as Baal for Inazumians, but Baal is the name of Makoto and not Ei, Raiden Ei's real name is Beelzebul, but Inazuma citizens do not even know that their Archon changed, so they still use real name or previous Archon Baal (Raiden Makoto).
If you are a normal straight guy, maybe it’s not so weird that you don’t get the hype of Kaeya, although I’m still a bit confused as to why. I can tell you what attracts me (bi woman) to him though: Stunningly beautiful, a little mysterious, smooth breathy voice, a bit of a bad boy vibe while still being nice. He is confident and a flirt, extroverted and gives people attention. I call the “being a jerk” thing, teasing, and I actually really like that, as long as it’s good natured underneath. It all just works for me. The game developers knew how to get me with him, and I’m not complaining ☺️ The genshin characters are ruining me for real life people though. It can’t be healthy. haha

As I straight guy, I can tell you that there are a lot of cool male characters I love and got, not because of sex appeal, but due to aesthetic attraction or other reasons (personality, voice, animations, gameplay). Although, I'm certainly not normal or I'm just good at denying my bisexuality.

When you play for a long time you are not building 7 characters, you are building 1. Actually you have it built before you pull for it. Like, right now i have all artifacts, weapons and talent books for Furina already, so when she arrives its insta lvl 90 and built up (also fragile resin ready for the bosses).
Yeah the world being massive if you play later is a cool factor. But to me the evolution of the world with passing time is what made me stay for so long with Genshin. It feels more rewarding imho.

i was just okay with kaeya at first, i built him because i like his burst and sword characters are easy to use. but then i checked out his character stories and he's? a walking lore bomb?? how am i not supposed to be interested in him if the devs built him with one of the most bonkers backstories in the game
Another fact is that China is a non-religion country since ancient,so the concept god in Genshin is kinda different from western culture. It’s more near to adeptus than god in bible.

Your choices do matter because the outcome reflects your Friendship ranking with the character. Choosing the secret gifts give your 2 to 3 points towards your friendship ranking with that particular character.
haha, cant relate to having problem with my hu tao since i got her to c1 pretty much the same day i got her. And yeah if you hate the jumping, then getting her c1 is really a quality enhancer. Like instead u can just sprint and tbh it is way better than jumping
Kaching took over diluc as my main ever since i got her... water boy, yaoyao, kaching and dendro mc or colley, loved the team when they were like lvl 50 and farmed sumeru boses with it. Now it upgraded to kaching, fishl (when i finaly got her), yao and either yelan (got her on this video banner ^^) or tignari when i have to farm oceanid to get unused chars to 70 for free wishes (f2p) She also helped sooo much with some liyue puzzles that i was having trouble with geo mc (i still dont have wine guy for bigger.... constructs) Now she is being replaced by nuvi (his numbers are just redonculus, kinda glad i broke my pledge to only pull for archons. Incidentaly managed to get hydro archon within 50 pulls after him while loosing 50% to mona... talk about hydro swarm, lolz)
Level Keqing for the opposite reason you don't like HuTao. Keqing has the fastest gameplay in the entire game, especially with the lightning artifact set on aggravate teams.

the elemental puzzles wore out and there are cases where you need a certain element but what if you havent rolled for said element or you didnt build up said character with element. you will have a nasty time playing having 3 characters carrying a dead weight that can die in 1 hit

26:40 Yeah, I like Hu Tao as a character but not her gameplay, her gameplay imo sucks. Pulled her and level her up to 90 to ended up using Yanfei for the rest of my life. And also pulled for Kagura's Verity for Yanfei while my Hu Tao using Vortex

I started playing Genshin 1,5 Months ago and at some point i hated Amber so much she destroy every Bow Character after for me. Her E was useless af and her Q shot always at the Enemy you don't want to hit. Now i know that it focus the nearest Enemy but come on give me a option to aim with it. Yeah after her every Bow Character is now just a riddle bitch for me. xD I don't understand the Hu Tao hate, she was my first 5 Star cause i started while her Banner was up. I got 2 Hu Tao's in the second 10x pull, i was so happy and that was all Primos i had to that time. I didn had enough for Neuvillette to and of course decided for the Girl and since then i bonked every Enemy with her large Stick. After that i cry every Event i can Play Neuvillette cause his Kit is actually really cool but yeah he will come back soon copium.
I have NO idea how people pick Lisa over Jean... Jean is top3 wifu in the game. Shes that girl next door perfect, with the pure summer blonde, high pony tail and the ocean blue eyes. Shes loving, caring, responsible, mature and capable. If youre talking a one night stand, sure Id have like 7 viable contenders... But we're talking wifing up. NO ONE is more wife material than Jean.
