Btw, the whole "the body has a way of rejecting pregnancy from a legit rape" is not something made up for the show. It's pretty much verbatim from a senator that made that comment in regards to abortion access.
The wildest thing about The Boys to me is so many of the lines in the show are direct quotes from actual politicians/pundits and it’s hard to distinguish them from the insane made up lines.
That whole tek knight and Huggies scenes were so disturbing he lost his dad and now that assault happening he needs therapy at a minimum great reaction as usual guys miss zuff sending all my love prayers to zuff for a speedy recovery and love to you guys ❤❤❤
This episode was so gross in so many ways. From the body stuff, the SA and mutilation, to the racism, ughhhhh!!!! And not sure if y’all got the reference of the “space lasers” but I kinda love that Kripke is no holds barred right now! Like they are going all in this season 😅. - Much love to y’all! 🖤
I don’t know if you can call it SA. As far as they knew it was Webslinger and he was a willing participant. Technically Hughie SA’d them by lying about his identity
@@tallinex It’s still SA, his intent was to go undercover, he did not know about the sex dungeon, and by time he did figure it out, saying something would've resulted in his death. But even without all of that, the bottom line is that his body was violated against his will. I really don't know about the Ashley thing honestly. I think it is partially SA because she was unaware of who she was performing acts on but I feel like there is importance to the fact that she didn't have anything performed on her. Her body wasn't violated in any way, but a private and intimate moment was invaded for her. A really weird line the show has set up, would've been interesting to unpack had the writers given it more care.
Idk why I’m just realizing this but in gen v, homelander lasered Marie and she survived. So does that mean Victoria Neumann would survive? Does she not realize this or just wants to go along with this crazy stuff anyway??
Well remember in the first episode this season they literally threw acid on her and it did nothing. That was what made me realize that some increased invulnerability must be tied to their blood powers since Marie took the blast and it did nothing
Marie and Neumann seems to have the same powers so she could survive Homelander’s lasers but maybe not the strength and Marie might be able to survive acid and a bulletproof. She’s not into this crazy stuff but she’s in a tough place and her daughter probably factors in too.
I mean Marie survived but was knocked unconscious. Homelander could presumably just laser her and then drop her off in space so dueling him now would still be dangerous.
