the keto for epilepsy is different from the keto for weight loss. It encompasses so much more. Like right down to the soaps and lotions used.

Olive oil will be even more expensive next year. There was a heat wave here in Greece (June, 2024) while the olives were still buds. Most of the olive flowers fell off the tree.

This doesn't make sense at all. I have 5 little kids and a husband, make all our meals and don't shop at Costco, and we only spend $250CAD each week.

Maybe the difference is because of age. Two teen boys, swimming teen girl. And three adults. Organic is just milk and eggs, yes, I could feel the difference. No fast food, no frozen dinners. But we don't have 1 dollar chicken tights in Toronto. For last ten years. We have some allergies, but no special diet. How are you doing it? Giving seven people all nutrition groups?! Diverse protein - not just chicken and tilapia (just for example, I trying to think how could I go with 250 per week. One chicken for a week for all, including cats. And I would start ration portions), so it should be some beef, some poultry, some fish (phosphor and omega), dairy, not just milk, but yogurt, cheese, sour cream. Veggies and fruits even in season - not cheep. Yes, I can take what on sale. But is still would be basically same staff. I never see salat on sales! Apples week after week? Children will stop eat them after two or three weeks in a row. Sweets - cheep staff from stores is sugary poison. We have family history of diabeties. So, I bake. And I bake almost every day, because it is gone the moment from the oven. For 250 a week it would be the cheapest sweets from dollarama. Please, tell me, how are you doing it for 1000 a month and not compromising health of you family!? I believe that you don't. BTW, only one person in our family is overweight, but getting better since move with us. So we are not overeating, even the cats!

I would say yes, at least to a degree. We now have a reasonable larder (food and non-food, shelf stable, freezer, and fridge) of which most was purchased at good to excellent proces; some was simply purchased at an acceptable price at the time. The larder items however, were purchased with real money and am contribute to the cost of say a meal. Many of our grocery trips are basically fill-in groceries even if they include a can or bottle of something not in our larder. During this time in our larder life, we generally reserve some of our grocery money for larder stocking or elsewise set aside upto a reasonable sum of larder stocking money then use it on quantity of a limited number of skus to fill the larder when we come across a good to great price; preferably at a great price. Then, we generally don't replentish until we begin to run out and then, we spend the time to price check. There are some foods we will not be replacing 'cause anything resembling the great price we originally stocked up on will never be found again. Buying in quantity at once sure has made shelf rotation VERY easy too.

No, because every month you're buying more for future months. For example, this month I stocked up on cheese for a few months but we're eating home canned foods too.
