@@coryboy345 We got one before, just a 125 for around $1,600 and been using it like hell when we go fishing on remote locations that just dirt bikes can squeeze through, well it fell apart eventually.... after 7 years. My dad is a mechanic and he said, it doesn't matter what brand it is, it all depends on how you care it and proper maintenance is the key. The only thing that might matter is the availability of spare parts, apart from that, it can go well way more than worth the price. Edit: It's still working but have some issues with the fuel efficiency as re boring had taken its max limit and some few small parts started to fail as it's rarely used now since we have newer bikes to use. $1,600 initial cost for almost 10 years now more than we paid for.

@@suchiruakuma6735 I got a 49cc scooter some years back too from china. While it still does run, most of the lighting doesn't work, the gauges stopped working, it's incredibly hard to start on cold or humid days, i've had to repair quite a few plastic parts including the throttle bar, and the throttle cable has snapped twice. And no mechanic will work on chinese vehicles because they are such a pain, so good luck learning how to do everything yourself if you're not handy.

I live in Indonesia and I ride a Chinese Dual sport. Imported here as a VIAR. I've had it almost a year now and it has delighted me. Less than half the price of the equivelant Honda or Kawasaki. It has done every thing I have asked of it both on or off road. Good luck with this project. Love the specs on this Brozz.

I had one in Afghanistan years ago that looked almost just like it with remote start. It was awesome but the rear shock blew out with in a month so I ordered a quality nitrogen shock with separate reservoir and beat the crap out of it. Never had anymore problems with it. Had it for about a year and a half.

Me and a buddy ride KLRs, Harleys and everything in between and we love these things. We taught our kids how to ride on these and have kept them going for 10 years. Just because it's old technology and inexpensive parts does not mean they are not reliable. Most of all, they have been so cheap that we absolutely thrash them to death (no rear fenders or fairings anymore) and laugh all the time instead of stressing about our factory bikes. Only buy these if you like fun.

the bad rap that these get seems to come from: People riding them on the transport oil, which messes up the engine, you have to change it right away. Not tightening bolts, checking everything over and making sure there's nothing glaring. expecting something that costs 1800 new to last as long as something that costs 3x that new. forgetting that the used bike market is garbage in a lot of places. Personally, I'd *love* to snag one of these where the motor blew (probably due to user error). I could rebuild the motor for less then my old GN125's top end would have ran me (because nobody has those in stock anymore).

This is what I used to do for Hempstead Harley in N.Y.. Drag off, (with forklift and rope, till it can be fork lifted and carried into yard) dry prep (controls and bars, paper work and keys) push to mechanic (You get real strong wrists at Harley, mechanic adds fluids, test run) I wash and polish, ride to showroom, add to inventory. They used to come in wooden crates, which made it hard to clear the rear hump..a little steel, lift the front with fork lift, helper releases one strap runs around releases second, fork compression gives a nice hard push and .05sec rodeo ride! I miss those days....

Nice to see ya with fish white legs, not road rash red whilst flying through the forest! Nice video, though--one of the best assembly videos I've seen.....easily the best riding video of that bike. I keep seeing guys riding around the neighborhood, which is ok, but the off-road capabilities were better than I would have thought. Great video!

Same way dealers get there bikes. Your just doing what a dealer usually does before you purchase. It's part of the reason why these chinese bikes are cheap.

The Chinese clone a lot of good designs. The main thing that they fall short on is metallurgy. Cheap metal makes a difference in long-term durability.

Some Honda cloned components, but not the frame. I rode something similar to that bike a few months ago and frame flex was horrible, like a wet noodle. I would be concerned about frame breakage from riding it off-road. So please let us know after you thoroughly test it, if you notice severe frame flex, or not. Thanks! Great video by the way and the bike does have a lot of very nice features, and the price is of course super.

I'm concerned that the fangled electronics gonna fail first. Hopefully the engine assembly is good. Honda is happy to make several of their small capacity bikes in China, wuyang-honda badged bikes aren't bad at all. But they don't slap on features that isn't really necessary other than to make folks who prioritize on-paper specifications take a second look and maybe purchase. Remote start aside, the integrated tamper alarm would be appreciated in more bikes.

Until these company's start focusing on quality, you will almost always be better off checking your local used bikes. Better deals to be had. These bikes fall apart after any use. It's like buying a bike from Walmart as apposed to a bike shop. I destroyed a mountain bike from Sears in one week as a youth. My specialized I've had for almost 20 years now. Still mint. You can't put a price on quality.

Chinese bikes are very practical in Asia where parts are cheap, plentiful, interchangeable between bikes, and mechanics don't charge by the hour. Good luck maintaining these in NA, they'll become shit on wheels in a year or less.

I have 1400 miles on mine Be sure to locktite the gear shifter. Luv it so far . The exhaust - a stepper drill bit to the ring around the tail pipe is a big improvement 4- 5hp

I bought an electric unicycle (EUC) that was Chinese made and the quality of build is excellent... It has withstood 1000 miles so far and taken some real hammer and is still going as strong as it did on day 1...I'm not saying the quality is going to be on par with Honda or Yamaha etc but for the price it might be worth taking a punt.. 😊..

Bro all Chinese companies are exactly the same they just have diff graphics and seat covers😂. Legit had a tao Tao version come into the shop and the customer didn’t even start it Bec it was already damaged, I was the first to ride it😂 it needed a new magneto, clutch case was busted and so was this shifter, had the same engine and plastics but it said Tao Tao hahah THats funny.

Purchased the Bashan Storm 250 14 months ago. I have thrashed the living hell out of it. Still runs like a champ. Say what you will but I am a certified diesel mechanic and know what I am talking about. These bikes are named the AK-47 for a reason!

I have one of these since 6 years and had many repairs, the material is horrible, plastic will break, rubber will harden out very quickly. First thing is the chain, it will get longer and longer, I could not believe it, so I thought the rearwheel is loose somehow but no, it's the chain getting longer. It's only about 12-15$ for the chain, the pinion and the rearsprocket, so what. The chinese bearings are bad quality aswell and the carb "PZ30" is too small for the 250. It comes with the 200 aswell. You can put a 115 Jet in it, that helps a bit.

I remember when Toyota started importing cars into the UK in the 60's and Honda were importing motorbikes. We thought they would be a pile of rubbish. Look at the quality and desirability of Toyota and Honda now. I expect the same will be the same with Chinese motorbikes and cars in the future.

Yeah Toyota used to be a great car get your money out of it and some not anymore as of 2017 and up they are designed to break down more often not so reliable anymore probably a lot more parts out of plastic to I remember the old days used to get metal intake or Aluminum Intake now they're plastic how durable is that

There are 2 levels of Chinese quality in my opinion. There are the vehicles that you can import directly from many of the 1000s of unknown manufacturers, that generally supply the local market demand for cheap transport. Then there are the manufacturers with serious global ambitions. Examples are MG motors for cars, the UKs fasting growing car brand and CF Moto, who in partnership with KTM are breaking into the Western big capacity Motorbike market.

@@superduper9357 as of what timeline most clone motorcycles I've dealt with have shity wiring harnesses in engines do not last a significant amount of time before something breaks most bikes I've had issues with was either a short in the wiring or the stator burned PS I am a mechanic by trade also these clones motorcycles some parts are designed not to be taken apart again carburetors bolts are sheared off after installation so that you cannot open up and clean it out often have to buy a brand new one.

on startup it almost sounds like it has low compression. i would love to see a "scientific" comparison between this and a honda or suzuki. what exactly is the difference and could i replace or upgrade to name brand if i wanted to?

If the engine hasn't been runned in, then engine will get better as you ride it to the first oil change.

Attention Deficit I have one and love it. If you buy from Alibaba.com, don’t buy the max model. Buy the base model and add the upgrades yourself. Otherwise you will buy the max model and they will ship you the base model and you will pay import fees on the max model. Lesson learned.

On brozz250.com it shows $1750 and no mention of free shipping anywhere. On peacesports.com lists the same bike for $2499 although their web site says they focus on 50cc scooters and are no longer a dealership. Very odd.

My xmax has hazard lights. It's also several times more expensive. And if it's battery goes flat, I'm done fucked with no kick start and no way to push start.

@@Meanazhell If you live in an area where there are used Jap bikes for cheap, that's great and I'd say go with that. But here where I live, a pile of parts that was a CRF 250 at one point sells for more then this. That said, you have to keep your expectations low. They're maintenance-needy... However, if you're willing to break out the lock-tite and don't mind pulling the engine apart at some point (because the seals are garbage), they can last a good while.
